“We had a great stay at Stony Rise Lodge! We booked in advance and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the Executive Suite on arrival. The property is well appointed, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning. The property is on a small but spacious estate 5 minutes walk to Long Beach and about 30 minutes walk to the centre of Robe via a pretty coàst path. The property is divided into thirds, front third has ceiling fans no a/c and consists of a large double bedroom, (ensuite shower, TV), small comfortable living room (large TV), small north facing patio area. “Gorgeously decorated home with slow combustion wood heater which made for cosy afternoons and evenings during our winter getaway. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts who were super responsive to any query. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.”

The heating and cooling system kept the entire house comfortable, and Claire was a pleasure to communicate with — always quick to respond and thoughtful in making sure we were well informed about everything the place offered.The location was excellent: a leisurely 15–20 minute walk to the town centre, and just a five-minute stroll to the beach and nearby walking tracks. We loved waking up to the smell of the ocean,……
