其實這家酒店不錯的，就是房間小了一點，沒有煲水設備，沒有電視。 不過可以在地下大堂有飲水、咖啡的機器，也可以去客廳看電視或一班朋友聊天。 而且在追極光的話，就更好，行出酒店外便很容易看到了(如果有極光的話)。

a lovely hotel
the hotel is located in a small but lovely and peaceful town. the location of the hotel is quite great, next to the lovely port. the view from room and dining room is quite beautiful!

Absolutely loved our stay here, hotel was nice & quiet!! Beds were comfy!!! We had dinner at the restaurant & food was excellent!!! Staff were extremely friendly & accommodating!! Town was super cute & quiet…..would def stay here again & recommend to others!!

There is a restaurant inside the hotel, but there are two pricing for a guest - reserved price and non reserved price. I just dont understand why need to be like that. As a hotel guest, we should be honored with the hotel guest price. That is why being a hotel guest.

Good morning,And thank you for your stay here with us. I do think you did misunderstan our staffmember in the reception.At arrival pr-booked breakfast (when you arrive) cost 2850 if you decide day after it is 3250 so that is all.Price is same for all of our guest.At the menu and also for breakfast this is just to keep our plan for staff in the morning.Best regards staff at Hotel Framtid

good place to stay. Very clean rooms. parking around the hotel. One place where hot water does not have the sulphur smell in it. There are only 2 dining options in the area. One in the hotel and one across the street. Both options are good depending on what you want.

Good option for Djupivogur
Good hotel. Pretty small rooms, but lovely location. We didn't find a way to turn on the room heating, but that's on us, we couldn't bother asking for help. Nice restaurant.

Beautiful Harbor Hotel
Very nice hotel located right on the harbor. Rooms were very nice and clean! If you’re coming in after a long day I highly suggest making reservations at the hotel’s restaurant when checking in. It filled up fast and the food was excellent!

Rustic a mountain Lodge Like Hotel by the water
Great place to stay with restaurant, a bar, and a cafe. Service is very good and the food were amazing. Receptionist was very helpful as well. The room is cozy with a rustic mountain lodge feel.

Fantastiskt fint med genuin känsla för gammaldags rustik lyx. Endast 2 små bekymmer, dålig wifi så fort man stängde dörren på rummet och ingen lagad frukost. Billigt var det dock absolut inte.

Not recommended at all!
We had a room for 3 adults. The room was very small. No place to move! Shower curtain rubs on your body when showering. 2 of 3 Night lamps do not work! You can barely see when window curtains are shut. You can here every word that is said through the walls of the room next door.

Excellent établissement
Un hotel on ne peut plus agréable et accueillant dans la pure tradition islandaise. Confort, propreté et malgré la pandémie un service de restauration délicieux. Chambres chaleureuses toutes habillées de bois. Atmosphère paisible et cosy. A recommander vivement.

Etape tres sympa
Hotel tres chaleureux avec l'espace chambre tout boisé dans un esprit 'chalet'. Nous étions tres peu de voyageurs fin fevrier, les fjords de l'est sont peu visités a cette periode mais Djúpivogur et l'hotel Framtid sont une excellente étape. Nous etions les seuls a prendre le petit dejeuner , ils l'ont préparé rien que pour nous. L'hotel est situé sur un petit port de pêche très sympa.

Great cosy hotel
Had a fabulous stay here. The staff were friendly and welcoming and were helped me a great deal even before I had arrived by answering my queries via email. We stayed in the main building which looked like it had been newly renovated. It was beautifully decorated and resembled a log cabin, and I loved it and makes you feel you are going back to your grandparents house. The room was clean and beautiful, and so was the bathroom. The room had hair dryer, TV, toiletries and most importantly a kettle with tea and coffee, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was a buffet with various bread, cheese, ham, cereal and Icelandic specialities. There is a supermarket and petrol station just around the corner which is convenient. I loved my time here and would love to stay again next time and hence would recommend.
