8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (61 reviews)
"The room was very nice and I even had a large adjoning patio. I ended up getting a free upgrade and Nina at the front desk was very caring. She did do everythong she could to make my stay great. I slept very well! As I learned this hotel is a family business and mainly the family members are at the front desk. The only thing I could suggest to improve were the towels. They were rough and looked really old. Since everything else looked soo great and was soo comfortable they stood out even...

"Be warned that you need early coordination for key pickup as there is no reception or self-checkin, which we were aware before booking. We had to wait over an hour to meet the host late in the evening when we were so tired. The condition of the apartment was bad. Faucet was broken (though usable), cracks on walls and ants in the kitchen. We would've left if we had other availability nearby. "

"We received the check-in instruction the day before, everything went smoothly. Parking right beside of the apartment gate, very useful to have the apartment on the ground floor for luggage. Apartment looked new, kitchen has no oven or microwave or dishwasher or washing machine, but well equipped to cook small meals. It is like 2km from the town center or less than 10min drive. Top Dobrova-Polhov Gradec Hotel Reviews

City Hotel Ljubljana

City Hotel Ljubljana

10/10 Excellent
"Excellent location - walking distance to Old Town and added bonus most Day Tours pick up at the City Hotel. Rooms somewhat small, were clean and good facilities, including a refrigerator. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Breakfast very extensive and well presented. In house bar menu, while not extensive, the food was excellent and good value, especially if you needed a break from going out to local restaurants. Overall excellent hotel and good value for money."
