Adorable cottage with beautiful garden in quiet village

This was a lovely place to stay. The cottage is over 200 years old, and so cozy and quaint while still having everything you need. We loved the wood burning fireplace and beautiful garden. The only consideration I'd mention is that if you are staying with very small children, the two staircases are very steep and somewhat slippery. Our kids are 4,5, and 7 and we were still nervous about them and the stairs.

Tuin is top voor de honden, goed hek eromheen. Leuk verbouwde boerderij met allerlei nivo’s en trapjes. De verhuurder zit eraanvast in de voorste helft van de boerderij. Rustig dorp, faciliteiten vooral in andere dorpen eromheen. Wat tegenviel was dat we elke dag hebben moeten zoeken naar een goede plek om de honden uit te laten. Veel bossen en land zijn privé, er wordt frequent gejaagd en er zijn nauwelijks echte wandelpaden. Honden altijd aangelijnd.

vriendelijke ontvangst/ begeleiding van de eigenaresse en buurvrouw. Genoeg te doen in de omgeving. Leuk huis. Wellicht handig om te weten is dat het huis vanwege de vele op- en afstapjes niet geschikt is voor minder validen. Verder zijn er diverse lage doorgangen, waardoor het voor mensen groter dan 1.80m veel gebogen lopen is. Handdoeken kunnen gehuurd worden per verblijf. Dus of je 1 of 7 dagen blijft, maakt niet uit. Je krijgt 1 set. Overigens is een 2e set huren geen probleem.

Ein wunderschönes und liebevoll ausgestattetes Haus, das mit allem ausgestattet ist, was man für den Aufenthalt braucht. Die Lage ist gut, um in den Ardennen zu wandern. Auch Dinant ist nicht weit entfernt, wo man Kanu fahren oder auch Klettern kann. Wir haben uns bei unserem Aufenthalt sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und gibt hilfreiche Tipps für Wanderungen und Restaurants. Nach den Wanderungen kann man im wunderschönen Garten oder vor dem Kaminofen entspannen. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Sehr gemütliches Haus mit eingezäuntem Garten, auf jeden Fall für Leute mit Hunden zu empfehlen! Der Garten ist komplett umzäunt und verfügt über ein Tor als Eingang, ideal für die Hunde zum Spielen, ohne den Stress, weglaufen zu müssen. Schöne Spaziergänge in der Nähe.

Goed ontvangst, de eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en spreekt nederlands. Huis mooi en schoon en gezellig ingericht. De tuin is groot met 2 zitgedeeltes en gezelschap van een paard en koeien die nieuwschierig komen kijken.slaapkamers mooi en goede matrassen en de bedden waren opgemaakt. Mooie omgeving met steden als Dinant en Namen en Luxemburg. Leuke vakantie met onze 3 dochters en hond.

In overleg met de verhuurder, die goed Nederlands spreekt, konden we 2 uur eerde ...

In overleg met de verhuurder, die goed Nederlands spreekt, konden we 2 uur eerder inchecken. Dat was heel aangenaam anders moesten we in het donker arriveren. Het is een mooi ruim huis met grote badkamer, woonkeuken en afgesloten (flinke) tuin wat lekker is voor een eventuele hond. Wij waren er met 2 personen. Met 4 is het wellicht een beetje onhandig voor wat betreft het toilet; deze bevindt zich in de badkamer naast 1 vd 2 slaapkamers. De andere slaapkamer bevindt zich in een ander deel van het huis waarvoor ook een andere (beetje steile) trap opgegaan moet worden. Helaas is er slechte 4G én slechte wifi. Dat vonden we wel een serieuze minpunt. Voor de rest vonden we het een fantastisch huis.

Mooie en rustige omgeving. De vakantiewoning was heel proper, alle voorzieningen aanwezig. De tuin is volledig omheind, wat zeker en vast een pluspunt is als je met honden reist. Enige minpuntjes: - wifi werkt niet goed - 's avonds buiten zitten op het terras: de buitenverlichting blijft niet continue branden waardoor je vaak in het donker zit De eigenaars zijn heel vriendelijke mensen: mevr. spreekt vlot Frans en Engels, meneer spreekt ook Nederlands. Men geeft ook tips waar je in de omgeving terecht kan voor leuke activiteiten + er is documentatie aanwezig in het huisje. Bedden waren opgemaakt bij aankomst, alsook welkomstdrankje in de koelkast en aanwezigheid van keukenlinnen. Wij hebben een heel aangename en rustgevende vakantie gehad. Voor herhaling vatbaar.
