Charming Medieval Village
Domodossola is a charming Medieval village and the Nicomat Rooms are right in the historic core. Beautifully restored building with state-of-the-art gentrification. Anna the proprietor, was very attentive and available. She recommended the Alberi Fausto restaurant which turned out to be the best dinner we had in our two weeks in the Piedmont!

One of our favorite nights stay on our recent holiday was here. The attention to detail was so special. We truly felt so welcomed when we stepped foot into our room. It was cozy and comfortable. There was so much charm in this place. It is very high on our list as a place to visit again the next time we are in Europe.

The entire property is entirely charming, neat and clean. The owner operates it directly, including preparing the wonderful breakfast each morning. The room is very nicely appointed. Every detail seems to have been attended to.

A true gem!!!
We initially booked a stay for 3 nights but we kept extending our stay because we liked this hotel so much. We looked online and no other place came even close to this one. The room was beautifully decorated and it was super quiet the whole time we were there. The bed was very comfortable. Best sleep we had in a long time. The whole place was very clean and the staff and owner are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is served every morning in the the beautiful cellar with delicious food. We would definitely stay there again and again.

Check in was east and the room was beautiful, clean and had everything. Anna was accommodating and so nice. I loved staying NicoMat!!! It’s in the center center of town and everything is close by. I recommend staying here - great value, great breakfast, great hosts.

Dès la porte franchie, on sent le soin et l’amour qui ont été mis pour la rénovation de cette maison de pierre, au cœur de Domo. Chambre chaleureuse et de très bon goût. Chaque détail a été travaillé avec attention et avec cœur. Tout était réuni pour un excellent séjour!

We stayed here in October of 2022 for two nights. Anna and Elena were very kind and patient especially with our limited Italian. Very nice, cozy hotel with very clean rooms, great bathrooms and a unique rock cellar where breakfast was served. Breakfast was very good with local jams, honey and dairy. The rooms were neat and clean and in excellent condition. Location is literally around the corner from a lively plaza with several restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend.

Absolute excellence!
What a perfect gem! Nicomat Rooms makes fantastic use of a small building to create comfortable, spacious accommodations. Our room for a family of four was perfect, with the kids sleeping in a loft area. Breakfast was delicious with lots of local options. Thoughtful details in every nook connect to the area's long history. Mere footsteps from Domo's best gelato, yet perfectly quiet and calm. Absolute excellence!

Very nice
La struttura è in pieno centro. È priva di parcheggio proprio però a due passi ci sono diversi parcheggi con le strisce bianche. Veramente comodo. La standard room è spaziosa e confortevole. Frigo bar, tavolino con sedia, poltrona, TV, aria condizionata e wifi. Il bagno non ha il bidet però è possibile utilizzare il soffione accanto al wc per l'igiene personale. Unici difetti: la parte superiore della tavoletta del water non era né fissata, idem il braccio del lavello. Nei paraggi molti bar ed enoteche dove consumare un aperitivo o un pasto caldo L'host è stata molto gentile e disponibile. Avremmo voluto un po' più di info per visitare i dintorni ma tutto sommato è andata bene.

An excellent place to stay in the middle of the old town. Fantastic location - just next to the main square with its restaurants and bars but noise insulation was great in the room, so peaceful sleep guaranteed. Very effective and quiet air conditioning. Room was spotless and care had clearly been taken to keep the place in perfect condition during the pandemic. Comfortable bed, powerful shower and the old elements of the building - its stonework and wooden beams - were elegantly incorporated. Free parking just a couple of minutes walk away and a warm greeting on arrival. Would recommend without hesitation!
