“My husband and I needed a get away just for the night. Our stay here was peaceful and serene. We had a beautiful view, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean, food was amazing! It was well worth the money spent even if for a night. My favorite part of a beach hotel stay is being able to go from the ocean to a pool. I loved being able to do that here! I also noticed such a clean smell and they sold scented candles and spray in the gift shop. So nice!”

“We had a wonderful stay. Great location and a quick drive over the bridge to Anna Maria Island. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Beds and pillows were comfortable. We really enjoyed our balcony marina view and spotted manatees! The pool was a good size and not too crowded with attentive pool side service. Our check-in staff was friendly, and had great energy and very welcoming. That really helped set the positive tone for our stay. However, the staff at check-out was not as friendly, distracted……

“This hotel was excellent. The Staff was kind and helpful. Telling me amenities I didn’t even know of. They have beach chairs and umbrella voucher every time you go to the beach plus they take you to the beach as well. We paid more for the breakfast package totally worth it. The bus jolly trolley is free when you show your hotel key then the valet guy showed me want app to download to watch the trolley route. The pool was clean bar/restaurant delicious. We will be going back every year now.”

“This is our second time to stay here - demo / construction has been going on with the properties on each side but it’s understandable considering the hurricane(s) a few years ago. We would still highly recommend and the demo to the south should be finishing up asap. Get with Kevin on the beach for your chairs / umbrellas - he’s wonderful!”

“Quaint hotel with lots of history. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean very comfortable bed. The breakfast had many choices. Easy location to get downtown as well as the Beaches.”

“Older motel but rooms have been updated well. Excellent location right on the beautiful pristine Belleair Beach. Great proximity to lots of restaurants and Clearwater Beach. Outdoor dining tables could be a little nicer and they were located right next to some stinky trash cans. But you can’t beat the view, and they did have some super comfy Adirondack chairs to take in the beautiful views. Great value too. Definitely will stay again!”

“Really bummed about this trip. Booked king room with 4 people and when we arrived it was only king bed, no place for our kids to sleep. Front desk wanted to charge extra to move rooms but weren’t even ready.. all activities are for older kids. 6+. When we booked we had to put our kids ages (5 + 3yo) and they couldn’t even participate in the amenities onsite. Hotel room was very grungy. Out dated and very small. Tropical view was nothing special. Also broken couches and dirty mattresses in……

“Highly recommend this hotel if you're planning a stay in St. Pete. This hotel was perfect...the staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was nice (clean and spacious and the bed was very comfy). However, our favorite thing about this hotel was the location. It is right in the heart of St. Pete and we could walk to everything. It was nice because this was a romantic staycation and we were able to go out and have cocktails at night without having to pay for an uber. There was literally……
