“Rooms are ok and if you're forced to stay in Greenwood it is convenient. Generally there is a bit of a musty aroma, in the rooms, lobby, and restaurants. Hotel staff are pretty much useless as they cannot make any decisions without "management." Of course, management apparently does not work weekends or holidays.
So, bottom line, need to stay a night in Greenwood? It works. But want to enjoy a stay and feel remotely pampered? Nope.”

“Step out of franchise and discover a 1910 brick built structure that has all the charm and details of an Abbeville historical treasure. The clean room included a quilt covered bed that was comfortable, and the room included refrigerator and microwave.
The best part was continental breakfast on a lovely veranda. The site is its original center of downtown, so don’t expect gardens…but I was sad to leave the over-stuffed wicker chair and resume my trip home.”

“When we stayed here in Feb 2026, our room was clean, well-maintained and comfortable. When we stayed this time (May 2026) our room had broken shower amenities, we found dirty clothing, and the general feeling of our room was poorly maintained. The property overall looked clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'm hoping this time our poor room was a blip on the overall experience I have with this hotel chain.”

“Writing
I recently stayed at the Rodeway Inn from March 27th–29th, and I had a wonderful experience. The manager, Rakesh Goswami, went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of—his helpfulness truly made a difference in our stay. Our housekeeper was also exceptional, keeping everything clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
I travel to Greenwood, SC on a regular basis, and after this experience, I will definitely be staying at the Rodeway Inn each time I return. Highly recommend to……
