"Pool and pool bar were great! Our only problems were a noisy a/c unit and worn carpet in hallway on 2 nd floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. We were able to walk to restaurants and bars and museums. We would stay there again. "

"We booked an oceanfront room for 6 nights (top dollar). 3 of those 6 days there was a cruise ship parked in front of our room from 7 am to 4:30 pm. No view. Literally right in front of our balcony. There was no reduced price for our room on these 3 days; it was ridiculous. No apology, and they know in advance when these cruise ships are coming in. They should not be charging the highest price when there is absolutely no ocean view for 10 hours."

"The room was clean ,but the sheets and pillowcases were worn out and threadbare . The bathroom was tiny , the sink and toilet was clean , but the shower was gross ! It was black mold in it , we spent 2 nights there , and we didn’t shower, I got some water dripping on the floor , I took a washcloth and wiped it up, the cloth turned black! They included breakfast in the price , but it was the the tiniest breakfast we ever had, so the next morning we went out and got a good breakfast . The elevator didn’t work when we came ,so we had to use the steep staircase and carry our suitcases up to the second floor , if you would fall there ,you could breake a lot ! The lady at the front desk was not very friendly, nor accommodating , she was not helpful. When we came down in the morning there was no good morning , she didn’t say a word unless someone spoke to her. "

"Location is excellent. No need to rent a golf cart. We were able to walk to almost everywhere. The staff were all wonderful. Extremely helpful, and so very nice and friendly - and I do mean all of them from the front desk clerk, to the food and beverage manager - could not have been nicer. The hotel is beautiful, and the complimentary rum punch every afternoon was something you won't get anywhere else that I know of. From now on this is our go-to accommodations in Key West!"
