“This home and place is so special. We loved that every one in our family had a space for themselves to sleep and so many spaces to just sit and be quiet, to fish, to read and relax. Night time camp fires overlooking the water and watching the night sky. The kitchen was fully stocked so that we were able to grill and cook our favorites all day. A great place to get away from it all. Beds were nice and cozy too and host was so quick to answer any questions we had while there. Highly recommend for……

“It was a lovely retreat on the lake for our family. Located between Huntsville and Birmingham gave us nice day-trip opportunities. There isn’t a dishwasher but paper plates were provided for the nights we didn’t want to do dishes.”

“This property was everything we could wish for in a lakeside cabin. Secluded, quiet & beautiful land complete with a gas grill, fire pit, porch seating for cool evening dinners, spacious dock for lazy days fishing or swimming and a canoe with paddle’s & various sized life jackets for exploring lake Smith. The cabin was super clean with all of the necessities. The beds & linens are comfy with extra blankets just in case. We loved our stay & recommend to everyone.”

“An absolutely wonderful stay! My friends (10 adults) go on a Smith Lake trip every year and we FINALLY found the house we’re gonna go back to year after year!! Had everything we needed, great comfy beds, plenty of communal space. We loved that there were many options for spaces to hang out around the house. The hosts and property managers were incredibly responsive and helpful. The dock was awesome and well stocked with toys. We also appreciated that the lot was flat and didn’t have to go down……

“The house is exactly as described! Beautiful part of the lake and we had peaceful mornings with coffee on the back porch. The boat ramp is so close and easy to use for your boat. Only negative is the mattresses need to be replaced. We had 6 adults & everything in the house functions well. We brought a Blackstone table top griddle where we made most of our meals outside. “We had a girls weekend at this wonderful lake house. The view was breathtaking! We spent so much time on the deck reading and talking. There was ample seating in the living room which was great for playing games and hanging out. There are two additional living areas for people to hang out and enjoy. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed for cooking! The beds were very comfortable and the bunk room was quiet- no noise from upstairs. We also enjoyed the dock and spent one……

“Overall the location and stay were good. The house met our needs. The gas grill was not usable and the hot tub was very dirty and needed a good cleaning. We had a great time and home met almost all our expectations. Views were amazing. Owner was very responsive to any issues we had.”

“If you like nature and seclusion, this rental is one you can’t miss! The property is huge and so fun to explore, the house is comfortable and lovely, and Clear Creek is so beautiful. Saw some big deer outside the kitchen window in the morning and had a good time identifying the wildflowers on the property. Definitely will be back!”
