This property is absolutely amazing! There was plenty of space for 20 of us. Activities included basketball, kayaks, game room, hot tub. But what impressed us the most was the attention to detail by the owner! There were so, so many unexpected perks! We will definitely be back!

What a wonderful weekend we had! Middlehaven is a beautiful home and the property had everything we needed to make our stay perfect! The beds were very comfortable, every guest slept so peacefully. The house was so clean and spacious. And provided so much space and comfort for our entire group. The amenities were amazing! The hosts were unlike any I’ve encountered. This was by far, the nicest VRBO property I’ve stayed at from the actual property to the hosts. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

Rose was lovely to work with. Believe her when she posts that she provides coffee,tea, sugar,etc. - Middlehaven has a "Coffee Bar" fit for a five star hotel! Several 12oz bags of high-end coffees pods in several flavors. The appliances are all top-notch and there are plentiful cups, glasses and dinnerware for a crowd. The towels are thick and our sheets were silky. There were actual bath mats, not just towel-material squares. Rose provides a small basket of toiletries in each bathroom, should you forget one of yours. The kitchen pantry has many "basics" like cooking spray and a shelf full of spices. All ten of us could dine at the large table and it enabled several fun-filled rounds of "Telestrations". There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own "space" if desired. Downtown Dover is only 7 miles away - grocery stores, churches, eateries. Almost forgot - there were yummy chocolate chip cookies from a local bakery waiting for us on arrival! Enjoy!

WOW! Beautiful and homey. This home had everything. Fully stocked kitchen, inviting living room and plenty of entertaining areas inside and outside. The lower level was just as homey has the main living floor. From bedrooms/bathrooms, living areas, games and the hot tub. Rose thought of everything, no matter what your age is, it is there. Not only is the house gorgeous, but the property is breathtaking. Quiet and entertaining watching the deer move between the wooded lot. Our party of ten, 100% of us were in awe over this home. Rose, you provide a 5 star experience. We thank you for your hospitality and ease from the initial inquiry to the end of our visit.

Middlehaven exceeded our expectations for the space and amenities we needed for our large family Christmas celebration! We ranged from Grandparents to infant and every need we encountered was thought of in this space! Rose put little touches of Christmas decor in each room and a large beautiful tree in the living room that created such a cozy environment for our stay! The coffee bar was a popular hub for adults and teens as we enjoyed warm beverages all day! We played games, read books, lounged in the comfortable seating, soaked in the hot tub and the kids were entertained for hours in the basement when the sun would set early and it was too cold to be outside! That’s just the highlights of our stay, but much more could be said in detail!

The house and property were incredible. We had 12 people and 2 dogs for 2 nights - and we felt at home. Rose thought of absolutely everything for the house. Only a few minutes from grocery stores/restaurants but you feel like you’re in your own world. Will definitely be back!

Our family hosted a 13th birthday party for our son. He and his friends were entertained all weekend. The property was stunning, the area is remote and private. The basketball court, game room and jacuzzi were a big hit. The house was decorated for the holidays, which made it feel like a home away from home. Rose was a dream to work with,she even got balloons for the birthday celebration. We can’t wait to come back!

We found Middlehaven almost in happenstance but was fate! We have a large group, and we have a tradition of getting together for Thanksgiving because we live so far apart. Middlehaven was halfway between our houses. This home was cozy and welcoming from when we pulled up. The home is gorgeous inside and out, one of the most beautifully appointed properties we have been to. It had plenty of room and a large table- since that was important for us to enjoy our Thanksgiving meal together. It had ample space to spread out, hang out in the game room, play our holiday family games, hang out in the hot tub, and also watch a movie together at the end of the night. Since we game here in the winter, we want to come back to enjoy all of the outdoor activities! Thank you for a lovely stay to enjoy some family time!

Our family had an unforgettable time celebrating a 40th birthday at Middlehaven. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for creating lasting memories. We enjoyed playing games, indulging in delicious food, and admiring the thoughtful gifts left by our wonderful host. The attention to detail made all the difference! Great location and place for our 6 adult couples to stay for a long weekend and celebrate 35yrs of friendship with a big Friendsgiving meal. The fully stocked kitchen, large table, 5 bedrooms, pullout couch and 4 bathrooms provided all the space we needed to not only enjoy time together but also allowed us space to spread out as well. We also took advantage of the firepit, hot tub, BB court and gaming systems…fun for all!! We loved the place and appreciated the attention to details and quick responses Rose and Brian provided. If concerned with stairs this may not be the place for you but if looking for a clean, spacious and entertaining place to stay we highly recommend it; you get what you pay for and more!!

Our family of 23 had an exceptional stay at Middlehaven. The space was immaculately clean, well decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The host went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, from local recommendations to thoughtful little touches in the living area and around the property. The location was perfect— quiet, yet close to everything we may need. We could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Middlehaven is immaculate and taken care of by excellent hosts in Brian & Rose. There were no problems throughout our wedding weekend and it was a huge relief to know we were in good hands. I’d list the amenities but I can just say there is everything you could need for a stay at Middlehaven and they have very thoughtfully put everything together.

What an amazing experience this was from booking through the end of our trip (and beyond!). The host (Rose) was very responsive, shared great information about the house and area ahead of time and was patient with changes we needed to make to our group after booking - the administrative part of the trip could not have been easier!! The grounds are gorgeous - wooded with 2 treated ponds and an outdoor lighted basketball court. The ponds have everything you need to use them - kayaks, standup paddle board, life jackets, floats, toys, abundant beach towels and 12 Adirondak chairs around a firepit right by the ponds. The pictures show the various spaces but don't fully capture how roomy everything is! We had 23 people and never felt cramped, even when we were all in the same space. The bedrooms were spacious with very comfy beds. We added on the loft which provided a perfect space for the one part of our family with younger children. Rose thought of every detail - plenty of towels, extra sheets and blankets, a stocked kitchen (we really appreciated the spice cabinet when we realized we forgot taco seasoning!), and so much entertainment!!! She also saved the day when I saw the stash of marshmallow roasting poles and realized I'd forgotten mine! The area was perfect - we made most of our meals in-house but ordered from Penso's (LOVED it!), visited a winery and brewery and even the revolutionary war fort nearby. We will definitely be booking another stay here!!!

This was one of if not the best we have ever stayed at. There is space for everyone and something for everyone to do. The communication is amazing and the house has everything you need. We wanted to find a house that my whole family could stay in together while I was in town from Atlanta. I have stayed in quite a few VRBO homes and have never seen one as well stocked as this house. The communication and attention to detail from the owner was above and beyond. The house was extremely clean. The kids enjoyed the game room, the basketball hoop, the swimming hole, and the kayaks. Everyone enjoyed sitting out on the decks, the firepit, the hot tub, and being able to spend time together in such a beautiful home.

The property was amazing. We were able to have a multi-generational reunion on a property set in the wooded, rolling hills country side while being close to everything. All the spaces; gathering, recreational and sleeping were wonderful and kept everyone engaged while reconnecting. The whole process was great! Rose answered all my questions. The house is very nice. The inside was so clean and well taken care of. Have recommended it already to friends. When we came in there was a balloon bouquet for the birthday boy, and a box of delicious cookies. You will love this place!
