We are senior citizens. The stairs weren't age-appropriate for us, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the house and view. We were there for the peaceful atmosphere. We did go into Dover, toured the Visitors Center (great) and the fort (beautiful and interesting). A complete message was written in the guest book and left by the TV.

The home and property were gorgeous. Everything we needed to have a good stay was there. We brought our own boat and the boat launch area was easy to find, private, and not busy .That was a plus for us, because it took us awhile to launch our boat as we were out of practice. I loved the screened in porch. We spent a lot of our time having coffee , playing games, and just visiting on that porch. We had planned to go see the area more as Laurie gave us many great suggestions, but we enjoyed hanging out there so much we only left once to get some groceries and eat at El Vallarta restaurant. My boys 19,20, and 24 did a fishing charter with Andy and had a nice time. . Overall we had a fantastic trip . The host and home were perfect. We hope to visit again.
