The Kentucky Lake area contains several entertaining attractions that are sure to create unforgettable memories. This is a great area for boating, swimming, fishing, hiking, and other woodland adventures. All of the shorelines are owned by the Tennessee Valley Authority and you can legally fish (with license) and swim anywhere along the shoreline itself.

Hunting trip

Great place, beautiful view
Would definitely stay here again, we took our buggies down and road many trails, crossed the ferry and just had a great time.
House is showing some age and wear but nothing affected the quality of stay.

Overall a great experience, 4.8 stars.
This is a nice getaway house snuggled against rolling hills and a scenic view. The house was clean and in good shape; located within a reasonable distance to grocery stores, gas and dining—14 miles. Locals were very friendly and afforded us every opportunity to enjoy our stay. Cell service was fine for those who want to stay connected. We would defiantly stay there again.

Beautiful location in an historic area
We come to Dover frequently to visit family, and I love having my own space when we come down. There was very little traffic, because you have to know where you’re going. My son loved that the lake was close by so he could go fishing. If you’re a history buff, Ft. Donelson is nearby. It’s one of my favorite places to spend time.

Wonderful stay
This was exactly what we needed before our son was deployed to Kuwait! Kayaking time, game time, quiet time, but most importantly family time. Such a quiet and beautiful location!
