「Great, quaint cabin, that is well maintained and tastefully appointed. Setting on the covered porch looking out over the trees and pasture made me feel like I was 1000 miles from anywhere. The hobby farm next door was really cool. There were all kinds of animals on the property, many roaming free. I even saw a skulk of foxes as I pulled into the property. A quick 8 minute drive and you were in Carbondale. Very cool.」

「We arrived at the property and had the easiest time entering. We loved the views from the back decks. We enjoyed a rainy morning with hot coffee on the deck during our stay. 「I cannot say enough how wonderful our stay was at Oak Manor. We stayed here for our daughter’s law school graduation and we had 15 family and friends join us. The house was exceptional. 「The property was nice. We had no issues at all. The property manager was very accommodating and communicated with us promptly. Definitely a great place to stay if you like the feeling of being at a clubhouse. The cabin itself was nice. It could use a few updates. The front porch and back deck was a little rough looking, but the inside was nice and clean. The one bedroom is huge. You could fit a few full size air-mattresses on there along with the bed, and the bathroom attached is also huge....

「We had a wonderful stay. Only thing to note for planning purposes is that the bathroom connected to the only bedroom on the main floor requires steps up and down from the shower. My mom is highly mobile (uses a cane and handrails) so she could stay downstairs with a direct walk in shower. There are 3 full (tub and shower) plus two 1/2 baths. The outdoor spaces were beautifully designed and furnished. The house is tucked into a corner with the lake behind. You will forget its in a neighboorhood....

「If you are looking for a beautiful cabin that is tucked away from the center of town but a quick drive to the action, look no further! I stayed here with my mom, aunt, and my 1.5 year old daughter and we had the best time! The cabin is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. 「The best part was definitely breakfast, it was a good place to stay any problems got fixed as soon as possible and everyone was very polite. Problems we had were getting locked out of our room for about 45 mins in the middle of the night, and the TV remote only works when your right next to the TV, does not work from the couch or from the bed.
