The ventilation unit in the room was loud and not operating correctly as the wall thermostat was not functioning. Shower floor tiles were a bit grungy and damaged wall paper in hallway and in room bathroom. Refrigerator seal was falling off and there was huge build up of ice in the refrigerator. Parking was convenient but pricy, but was in line with other hotels in the area. Bed was okay, kind of plastic crinkly sounding when moving though.

I received a $350 smoking fee for tobacco guts being disposed in the trash. I called to get this fee resolved 5 times and have received the run arounds from the house keeping manager being unavailable and the only one who can resolve the issue. I have left 2 voice mails which I have not received a call back from and get brushed off everytime I call. Both the front desk clerk and manager are not taking the matter serious and the matter remains unresolved. It has been the most unprofessional experience I have received and my concerns are not made a priority. It has left a terrible taste in my mouth as I was only here for a day for my graduation for my masters degree. Beautiful facility but the service is quite inadequate.

As we discussed on the phone, we are a smoke-free facility. After inspection of the room upon your departure, we became aware of smoking in the room as well as what was in the wastebasket. This property is overpriced I paid $666 for 2 nights I was in town for a Basketball Tournament w/my 15yr son. Most hotels that I've been to includes a continental breakfast the breakfast was around $15 which was nasty I also had to pay $30 per day for parking for that amount of money something should have been included I also had to ask for fresh towels & wash clothes. I don't think I will stay again in the future. Not a happy customer!!!

Best place to stay after a Penns game! Rooms are alway clean and the beds are always confortable. A The only improvement i would suggest are the COFFEE pods. One stay no coffee pods and this trip only light or decaf. Im a dark roast type of person. No biggie! I could always bring a k-cup with me. After my stay, I always treat myself to breakfast at Delucas on the Strip. Perfect cup of coffee everytime😊

The property was luxury class. But our room had not been used in a while and was quite dusty around the bathroom sink and on the surfaces . we did not have soap, hand, lotion, or a full Kleenex box, which ran out. The bed was extremely comfortable, and we enjoyed watching TV in the evening on the sofa area. We enjoyed the hot tub immensely, except for the screaming children and mother. we very much enjoyed being able to have supper at the hotel without having to search for something in the downtown area. We did think the cost of breakfast was excessive but Convenient. We were very surprised at the cost of parking in their lot at $32 a night. We thought parking was included and available on site.. But it was very convenient in crowded downtown Pittsburgh and right next to the arena. Pittsburgh Street are in eternal construction, and very difficult to get around, with a lot of one-way streets. We went to see the Phipps Conservatory and enjoyed that immensely, but getting there was a chore because of Pittsburgh street construction.

The main areas were nice and clean. Rooms were not kept up. Gross carpet and first room we got the shower was disgusting- to the point where we asked for a different room. Housekeeping tried to barge in at 8 am our last day without knocking. Would be nice if they waited for people to check out or at least knocked before opening the door on sleeping guests!!

The convenience of staying here for an event at PPG is unmatched. The room definitely needs updating (carpet was terrible, toilet barely flushed, comforter had stains, literal boogers on the walls by the bed) and the noise from hallways carries into the room very easily. Staff was great. Would recommend for the convenience, but if your a cleanliness stickler, please choose elsewhere! Glad we only had to stay one night!

The staff at check in were very friendly, however when entering our room, the door frame was damaged as if someone was trying to break in. I brought it up to the manager and they said that previously, the card reader wasn’t working and they had to use tools to open the door. Also, they was a pair of dried contact lenses stuck to the bathroom wall as well as broken lamp shade and part of the window curtains were broken. The hotel gave us free breakfast passes, free overnight parking and free snacks for the inconvenience. Unfortunately since I booked the room through a third party (Expedia), they were unable to take any fee off of our room. In spite of the poor quality of the room, the staff was friendly.

We really loved the location, but our room was really dirty. There was spatter of what looked like blood on the walls and the curtains and dirt on the carpet. The bathroom was very clean, but the room was a bit dated and worn.
