「My wife and I stayed 4 night in this updated 1700s cottage that was clean and cozy. I’m an early riser so I enjoyed the early mornings by the fire pit and my wife slept in. 「There are so many wonderful things about this place, which is why it is our favorite getaway destination. 「This was our second time staying at the Blackhorse home and both visits were absolutely terrific. Barbara’s communication is quick and thorough.. the landscape is serene.. the home is cozy, clean, and inviting. We created lasting family memories at this location during the first stay back in 2022 and it was our teen kids that requested the same place for our stay in 2024. A hit with everyone. So peaceful but minutes from everything one might need. We hope to return to the Blackhorse house again...

「Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. It was extremely clean and was tasteful decorated. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was also well stocked with all we needed. 「We really enjoyed our weekend at the property. There was a small issue with our code not working on the door when we arrived, but this was quickly resolved by the property manager and later on, the property owner dropped by to ensure we were settling in okay and to personally apologize for the inconvenience. We really enjoyed the personal touches and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice, quiet property with great amenities and responsive management.」

「This how is an old home that was fixed to look lovely. It had everything we needed for our stay. There are three bedrooms in the main house. Loved the separate kid space which doesn't have bedrooms but two twin lofts with ladders so if you have little kids this probably won't work for you. My teen girls loved having the separate space. 「The apartment was the perfect size for for our family of four and our dog. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking a few meals at home to save some money. The bathroom is large and well laid out. If you're looking for ice cream, check out Fox Meadows creamery, a short walk away or drive a few minutes to Hayloft ice cream. At Hayloft, you can feed ducks and fish in the adjacent pond. Achenbachs bakery, just down the road, has some good long johns.」
