「Great family run hotel run by amazingly friendly and helpful man Stamatis. Went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable as a solo traveler including providing assistance when I left my only bank card high up on the mountain top somewhere! ( don’t be like me bring a back up!) I went to Apollonas on a whim to escape the crowds at Naxos town and glad I did ended up staying a week at the hotel instead of my initially planned 2 days. 「After an extremely tough nightly drive along the coastal "road" from Agiassos (very dangerous, not recommended!), the arrival at Kalados Studios was a huge relief. The small resort developed from the owners` original country house has a wonderful "end-of-the-world" feel, and overlooks one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The food is simple but in this kind of place, one is always happy to enjoy it. My studio was very nice, had a kitchen, a big balcony, and a great view. Lots of flies...
