Excellent hotel
This is definitely one of the best hotels we had lived so far! The excellent service impressed us and our room is very close to the beach! Our daughter was illed during the trip, and the staff is very caring and nice to us! Excellent hotel and great experience!

這是一間非常漂亮的飯店，有自己的沙灘和水上樂園，緊鄰帆船飯店。自助早餐品質很好，服務也很好。坐船和坐接駁車以及沙灘服務人員，態度都非常親切。每一棟villa都有管家，早晚各一個，很遺憾的是我們白天的女管家服務不專業而且態度差，即使知道客人不滿，卻選擇置之不理，讓我對這間飯店感到失望！如果你不是歐美人士，這間飯店或許不是最好的選擇！

Beautiful hotel!
It has every things inside the hotel itself. Many nice restaurants and shopping area and close to the beach too. The service is good and people are professional and polite and helpful. I will choose this one again for next visit.

Fantastic location for a short break - away from the UK weather! Very helpful and efficient staff who made our stay very comfortable. A great choice of cuisine across a number of restaurant options. Very good facilities with several different pools plus a lovely beach. All in all, we were very happy with everything.

This was our second time in Dar al Masyaf. We stayed in a summerhouse with a view over the lagoon, where the abras sail past. Beautiful view, wonderfully quiet. The room was nice and spacious with beautiful bathroom. The room are cleaned twice a day. Resort is very nicely laid out with lots of choice of bars and restaurants, friendly staff and great weather. I had a request for a birthday cake. Our butler Shashi and housekeeping Hasindu have taken care of this neatly. The room was decorated with balloons. These two guys are very nice and attentive. Always helpful. A round of applause for the friendly and professional staff from the reception to housekeeping. This is definitely one off my favorite hotels.

Dar Al Masyaf, c'est la certitude d'un séjour réussi. Les équipes sont aux petits soins, le complexe est grand mais à taille humaine (sentiment totalement différent à l'Atlantis) Le service de buggy, de restauration, de petit déjeuner, de voiturier, ..... tout est vraiment parfait. La plage est magnifique avec un service extra (bouteilles d'eau, glace, nettoyage de lunettes, ..), et la vue sur le Burj est toujours aussi fantastique

Room without a view
The room was advertised on Hotels.com as “water view”. Unfortunately, we were put in a room that was on the ground floor with a view of a wooden fence, with a kids club on the other side of the fence. We advised staff that we’d booked a room with a water view and asked to move rooms but I was told there wasn’t another room available.

A family oasis in the desert.
This is the kind of resort you don't have to leave. It has pretty much everything in this small village. A beautiful place surrounded by water and a green oasis. A bit touristic but overall the place is huge and you will something that fits everyone. Tennis courts, a gym, several pools and quiet places for those who wants it. Would recommend this hotel to families most of all. The main building, Al Qasr has a huge lobby with a cafe and restaurant. + The breakfast has most type of typical food you would look for and the quality is good. You can order some omelett, and you have some nice variation of hummus and other kind of delicate bites. + The summerhouse buildings fronting the lagoon is good and offers a nice view of the water, with everything you need around it, like a private pool. + The staff around the pool areas, the houses and in the restaurants are great. - The staff at the reception was a disappointment. The first person felt uninterested in our visit, and when I can came back to ask why we didn't get the water view as it said in the room description, the second person was like talking to a robot. I eventually gave up and basically had to pay to upgrade the room despite being a Gold Member of Hotels.com. - Asked for a late checkout several times, and they promised they would look into it. Nobody came back, and at the check-out day they said it wasn't possible. Overall, a bit disappointing for a hotell with high reviews and being part of Jumeirah Group.
