Great location and the quiet calm we wanted. Food in the bar/restaurant was really nice and the staff at the hotel couldn’t be more helpful. Our room was nice but very tired, in the need of a face lift.

We stayed in the courtyard rooms. Have to say it was the most comfortable bed we slept in while in Ireland for 2 weeks! The carpet could stand to be replaced, but everything else was updated. It is a very old building, which adds to the charm, but also means water pressure is slow. Great price for a couple nights outside of Dublin. Super convenient to the airport.

There were 2 heaters in the room, one in the bathroom and one in the main room. You can turn the one in the main room off (which set 2 feet from the bed) but you cannot turn the one in the bathroom off. It is pre-programmed to come on for a hour and off for two hours. We were originally booked in the main building in a beautiful room, unfortunately it was on the 2nd floor and I had hurt myself our first night in Ireland and could not climb that many stairs and there is no lift. The staff moved us to another room across the courtyard. Which I was grateful for. The food was excellent and the staff took very good care of us. Would we stay here again? Yes.
