We love the Rochestown Hotel in Dun Loagherie. This is our second year in a row of using it as a home base near my aunt and uncle. We also love being within walking distance of Forty Foot beach access and the ability to swim with other open water swimmers. This is the cleanest hotel we have stayed in for along time. We were on a 20 day vacation and stayed in over 10 places and this is by far the best place we have been this year. The bed was comfy, the room very clean and spacious, everything we needed for comfortable 3 day stay was there in the room. The bar/restaurant are very nice with good service and good food. We liked having the breakfast option available. Having a pool is a plus. I left my favorite earrings in the room, and the staff was quick to retrieve them for me to make sure I will get them back. I have lost jewelry in other hotels this is the first time I got it back. We will be back every year as long as we can keep traveling. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. I can't say enough good things about the place. There is also a great shopping center within walking distance for meals and groceries, even a barber.

Would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were really friendly and the hotel was immaculate. Unlike other hotels the breakfast was cooked to order and tasted great. We had an evening meal there too which was also lovely. We used the swimming pool too and the underground parking facility meant we didn’t have to worry about finding a place to park. If we come back for another trip to Dublin, we would 100% stay here again.
