As two families with 3 adults and 5 kids the Smores Cabin was well suited for us. Nicely decorated, plush hotel style towels, and a lovely deck to enjoy our morning coffee. Kitchen had a huge pantry which was great as we prepped a lot of our meals at the cabin The beds were comfy on upper two levels...we actually did not use the basement room. 3 bathrooms are a plus!
Had some trouble with contacting local maintenance for an oven issue as cabin phone would only allow calls out to the (866) area code to call the management company (If you only have Sprint as a carrier you will find cell phone service challenging in Duck Creek).
We enjoyed the deer who frequented the backyard in the evenings, smores in the fire pit, and the teens want to say Thanks for the Wi-Fi!.
Three must dos while visiting Duck Creek:
1. Rent a Razr ATV at ISSU in town. Best way to explore the beauty of this gorgeous area.
2. Ride horse or muleback down into Bryce Canyon. It will be an experience of a lifetime. There are no words!
3. Hike the narrows at Zion NP. This is a bucket list experience!. Treat your feet right and rent the specialized shoes and use a hiking stick. The helpful and knowledgable folks at Zion Adventure Co. Can outfit you at a reasonable cost.
Weather changes frequently in July...a portable rain poncho for your pocket goes a long way out here! Cant wait to come back for a third visit to this special village!
