「This place was a great home base for activities in Pagosa, Durango, and the surrounding areas. The only missing amenity would have been a hot tub, this could really put this place over the top. As others mentioned, noise from floors above is loud, but that is part of staying in a log cabin. We got used to it by the second night and the fandeliers in the rooms help with the noise and comfort.」

「First of all the adobe is historical and old! But redone in an extremely tasteful way! Exposed beams and a fireplace. We sat outside after 10pm and the star gazing could not be beat! We saw a shooting star and then we heard coyotes sound off - the whole mountain experience came together. In the morning it was coffee on the patio and we watched elk. We could hear the cows and saw the horses from the working ranch around us. All in all, a wonderful time!! Thank you so much!!」

「The owner & care taker were very kind & helpful on answering any questions! Loved staying at this large home. Plenty of room & beds & bathrooms, were great. This is a great place for large groups. 「The house is very nice - perfect for a family. The location is very scenic - no traffic or light at night. Deer were grazing near the house every day. The only complaint we have is the heating system. It’s some kind of ambient heat blowing out. When it’s 85 degrees outside you don’t want it to be hotter than that inside.」

「This place is a little off the main road but extremely worth it once you’re there. The house is very comfortable to just lounge around all day in if you want but the best part is the outdoors. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with necessities and the views are unbelievable. 「The property was very nice and overall our stay was good. One problem is that the neighborhood was affected by a water main issue that lasted for a day. However, it appears the issue happened once before as well. I understand the water supply is out of the property management's control and the manager did organize the ability for us to use another rental's bathroom. But I would have expected a credit or some refund offered for our trouble, especially given the cost of the rental.」
