“The apartment was nicely updated, decent location in a beautiful Scottish fishing village. The owner was available by phone on a couple of occasions. Check-in would have been simpler with detailed information on how to work the door handle. Amenities as described, we were disappointed at the lack of toiletries as the cute toiletry bottles were one of the deciders between this flat and one of similar price. Photos are doctored for colour; it's nowhere near as orange as it appears! We also had the impression it was bigger from the photos. “Our stay was great and better than I expected. We were there to visit St Andrews university and were very pleased with our rental. First our guests were very helpful and attentive. The apartment was really clean which I appreciated. Some added details were lovely- ear plugs in the night table drawer, Coffee pods, tea bags, cleaning supplies in the kitchen, a book of instructions and suggestions. Honestly, it deserves a 5 stars. I would come back again.”

“What a gem of a little garden house - bright & airy with a great view of the beautiful garden. It was clean, warm & cosy with a super comfy bed & had all the facilities required for our weekend break. It was set in a lovely quiet location within easy walking distance to the centre of Anstruther & an excellent base to explore the very picturesque surrounding areas. Our lovely hosts Carol & John were very friendly & extremely welcoming - thank you!!!! We would not hesitate to recommend!!!”

“The Terrace is a perfect little home from home, very well equiped and finished to a high standard. The place was spotless when we arrives, we couldn't fault a thing. It is also in a great location just 5 mins walk to the harbour and parking was never a problem. Can't wait to go back! Caroline was a wonderful host and check that we arrived safely and the we had enjoyed out holiday and gotten home safely afer our stay. ”

“We had a great long weekend in Oct/Nov. The village is fantastic with a traditional butcher, farm shop and amazing cafe, all on a lovely high street. A wonderful park across the road which the dog loved. Lots of amazing walks nearby. The flat was cosy and there were some lovely treats on arrival. Great for dog owners too. ”

“The decor of the cottage was stunning. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Location was also really good very near the beach, park, shops and cafes etc. Parking was easy right outside. I would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed lovely walks along the promenade. A few minor tweaks needed to make this a top class stay. Hairdryer and remote control not working correctly - both need replaced. Sofa was not very comfortable cushions were flat and worn.
