Comfortable accommodation, basic amenities and on a Main Street so convenient for taxi/Uber and 5 minute walk to intercity bus near campus. Several good restaurants. Buddha Stix restaurant for dinner and the Good Earth cafe for breakfast or lunch. Campus closed for the summer so not every restaurant open but enough for our two night stay. Managers kind and friendly and certainly working hard to make the motel a success.

The place was tidy, a good location, close to 24 hour grocer, a bit of work going on at the time we stayed so there was scaffolding all around but that was ok, easy parking, easy access to more towels and condiments if you needed them, the only let down was the noise from the other room (which can’t be helped) and the kitchen was not equipped with what we needed with 4 people staying. Ie: 1small pot to cook other then that it was ok

Original room was facing the road and a bit noisy. This was a minor issue compared with the No Smoking room smelling of cigaret smoke. We let the manager know and she moved us to another room that was significantly better. This is an older motel that was when we stayed being repainted externally. The beds were comfortable and the rooms clean. Location on George Street is conveniently close to the city.

Great stay for iur family, grandparent, parents and two kids, in the 2 bedroom apartment. A very spacious unit. Good location for university events. Room was quiet. Our flight into Dunedin was delayed and reception staff waited up for us til 10pm. We will stay again.

The space of the unit was great. The office personnel were friendly and the beds were comfy. However, cleaning appeared to be not a priority, such as on eating surfaces, i.e., table, dishes, bedquilt covers, and the floor. This needs to improve for my family to stay again.
