Hele fijne accommodatie met superaardige medewerkers die er alles aan doen en meedenken om het naar je zin te maken. Heerlijk restaurant waar wij alle avonden (3) hebben gegeten.

Only negative was that we were in the first room on the bottom floor and there was an outside light above the outside door and even with curtains closed it was like sleeping with a light on inside our room,only negative thing as room had everything you need and beds were super comfy.

The rooms are comfortable, staff are very friendly.Especially a lady called Inga who cooked and served breakfast.Very pleasant and friendly. A good bus service into Dunfermline or to Glasgow.

Bei mir war bis auf, dass das warme Wasser nicht wirklich vorhanden war, alles in Ordnung. Bei dem Zimmer meiner Schwester, war einiges, was nicht gepasst hat. Sie hatte wie ich probleme, mit dem warmen Wasser. Dazu war es so, dass der Türgriff bei WC nicht fest war und es war ein riesen Loch in der Wand am Waschbecken. Ansonsten war das Hotel in Ordnung. Das hauseigene Restaurant war zwar teuer, aber das Essen war lecker. Es gab 4 Busverbindungen, die in die City fuhren, aber auch 2, die direkt nach Glasgow gefahren sind. Mit 12,20 Pfund, war das Tagesticket recht günstig und man kam sogar damit, bis nach Glasgow und Edinburgh. In der Nähe, ist ein kleiner Shop und eine Pizzeria. Das wars leider schon.

I would give zero stars if option to select. Do not book at this poorly run hotel. Booked a family room for 2 Adults and 2 Children. Checked in to find we were given a Room for 2 Adults with one double bed. Made a complaint at reception, but hotel fully booked. Receptionist said room should not have been released to us but no option and they hastily pulled out a sofabed and moved a double bed to the side to accommodate. This meant you could not access wardrobes, shelves or desk and had to crawl over beds to move to the other side of the room. Sofa bed not fit for purpose, mattress very springy and children unable to sleep. To make matters worse, the hotel manager tries to absolve responsibility by saying it was a family room, and they have taken our feedback for future! Absolutely disgusting and appalling behaviour. They clearly don’t put customers first and you can see this at reception where staff are junior and have no authority whatsoever in dealing with complaints effectively or efficiently. When asking for the manager, they are not on site and apparently do not work weekends. Absolute rubbish. We are a principled family and I would hate for this to happen to another family, so they will be hearing from my solicitors for breach of contract. They do not understand who they are dealing with and I will be in this for the long run until a successful conclusion is drawn.

The room was very basic and they didn’t provide any amenities. We did not like the beds as there was a futon and it was very poor quality . The breakfast was very basic as well , we were not happy with the stay and service at all.

Fourth stay at this hotel, but first time in the single room. But the bathroom was way below standard. The shower trap had not been taken out, the shower head was covered in dirt and mould and there were numerous long black hairs in the bathroom. A bit disappointed with the hotel this time and may not book again. Other than that this hotel is actually very nice.

Hotel and evening meal was very good, however the breakfast was a complete let down, not enough cooked food out and only one member of staff doing the serving.

Lovely hotel

Had a lovely weekend at the Adamson Hotel... Clean hotel , comfortable beds ,pillows perfect for me ...rooms pretty basic ,but adequate for what we wanted. Staff... when checking in there was only one person doing bar and reception deck , so had a good 10 min wait to check in But on the whole staff were very polite . Restaurant was lovely, ate in both evenings and service was great ... and not a single complaint about the food , both evenings it was gorgeous and value for money. Would definitely recommend this hotel .

Lovely quiet, refurbished hotel serving great food

I like to stay here whilst working at Knockhill as it is quiet, comfortable and serves excellent food until a reasonable time so I can get back and eat. Wifi is OK downstairs but patchy in rooms. Ample Parking. Well appointed rooms which have been refurbished to a very good standard, with plenty of power points etc. The only issue was the shower could have been better. It looked good, but if you wanted a hot shower it was less powerful. It is frequented by coach parties so if you timed breakfast wrong, that could be an issue. Worth asking at reception when they would be eating to avoid?

We had a great stay here. The young ladies were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and hot. Breakfast was good although not a big selection but it filled us and we left happy. Will definitely look to book again when in the area.
