Friendly welcome from reception and breakfast staff. Hotel was very noisy as I think there was a stag party or sporting event so we didnt sleep too well. Overall was a nice visit to a seaside resort in low season. Close to the beach.

Hotel and staff were lovely. Unfortunately following an event in the hotel, there was a party in an adjoining room and due to the noise it was impossible to sleep. We were unable to contact reception so we had to leave the hotel at 05.00 in the morning.

Amazing from start to finish. Food delicious, suite with Christmas tress was adorable and staff were so friendly.

Rooms nice but lack of cleaning. Spiders and ants in first room given after changing rooms the floors not cleaned. Windows and patio doors need a good clean or updated. Short staffed at dinner time not good.

It was a lovely comfortable stay,with lovely and friendly staff,and lovely tasting food,we really enjoyed everything about staying at the waterfront.

Lovely hotel
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Ireland. Clean, fresh rooms. Very tasty seafood in the restaurant both dinner and breakfast and good selection for gluten free and lactose intolerant. Dungloe is a sweet little town with good choice of shops. Lovely coastline and sunsets

Great stopover on tour around Donegal

A hidden gem
Lovely time, staff in the bar/restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Really nice food . The room was very nice and very well finished and had everything you could need. The only two things was the lady on reception at check out on Monday morning wasn’t as pleasant or friendly as the other members of staff. Also the outside of the hotel lets its down, its a hidden gem inside but you would drive past it . We would stay here again if in the area

Friendly staff. Beautiful view and clean rooms. Harry checked us in about 11pm after a long day of driving. Chloe, Katie and all the other staff were wonderful too.

Random night in Dungloe
Nice location in Dungloe. Cleanliness was very good in fairness. Staff were friendly and helpful if not a little be slow. Food was not great but breakfast was better.

Staff were excellent and friendly in all parts of the Hotel. I also liked the discipline shown to combat the virus. Whilst the dinner menu was shallow and repetitive the food served was excellent. I would stay at this Hotel again.

Good location for access to several beeches. Standard of cleanliness very good. Standard of food disappointing, menu basic and repetitive, seeming reliance on the microwave and processed foods.

Nice rooms and great breakfast. Service was a little variable both at breakfast and in the evening; but I think there were recent staff changes. Good location close to the town, but really quiet.

Magnificent location on the water with mountains in the background. Easy check in. Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice restaurant/bar with water views. As far as food, we had a most delicious lunch of salmon & brown bread as well a chicken club sandwich- very fresh and plentiful.

Relaxing stay in Dungloe
The room was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The included breakfast was great. We ate at the hotel restaurant both evenings that we were there and we were not disappointed. The restaurant seemed to be popular with the locals as well. The really enjoyed the views from the hotel.

Great place to stay
Super Hotel with great views across the water. Well named. Lovely sit-out area at the front. The bedroom was very comfortable with a window that could be opened if desired. A wonderful good size tv was secured to the wall with super crisp reception, colour and choice of stations, including radio, which I always avail of when away. The food was delicious and the fresh fruit salad on the first morning was superb. The second morning did not live up to standard as there was an absence of strawberry, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry that it contained the previous day (a large amount of apple was included on the second day). All in, a most enjoyable experience and the staff were fantastic....

Absolutely a hidden gem! Beautifully put together room with style! Spacious! Our delux king bed suite was true luxury! Worth every penny of it! Good choice of breakfast with spectacular view from the Resturant! Friendly staff! Will definitely recommend to family and friends!

Stayed in the O’Leary Suite and had a fantastic time, great location, staff where excellent. GM provided 2 free drinks and the bartender helped us order breakfast room service for the next morning. Staff couldn’t do enough for us even offering to drop us the town which was only a short walk from the hotel. Very pleased with our stay 5*****s

Had a most enjoyable short stay at this modern comfortable hotel. Friendly ,efficient welcoming staff. Room and bathroom spotless and comfortable bed. Food scrumptious .. ... Only 1 small suggestion ..the bathroom shelf and soap dispenser could be lowered to facilitate those of smaller stature like myself..The Waterfront Hotel Dungloe is our new Favourite Place
