“The cottage was amazing, access gained easily when we arrived. The property was nice and clean and well presented.
We travelled with 2yr old twins and 1 cot was provided and 2 high chairs which was brilliant for us as we were able to bring our own travel cot as well. Plenty of room for the four of us. information on shops and local amenities was good.
As guests we had access to a large grassed area with a climbing frame, also there was a veg patch and chickens as well.
All in all a brilliant……

“This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. The advert does not do this place justice, it was above and beyond our expectations and we shall be back ”

“I have been to York many times and stayed in many great places around the city but this beats them all. An easy 3 minute walk to Yorkminster, a Sainsbury's out front and The Bootham Tavern pub across the street. The pictures included in the listing are 100% accurate. The flat itself is roomy, well appointed and has all the amenities one expects (more, actually). It was quiet, comfortable and extremely clean. “A very nice little flat 10 minutes walk away from the city centre.
Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid.
There is outdoor space however it is shared and a small shadowy courtyard. Doesn't look used at all.
The flat is a funny layout. We slept in the main room which is at the front of the flat and the kids room is……

“This place was great! We were having trouble getting in and our host immediately responded to our call and walked us through the process. Once inside, we found a spotless apartment with super comfortable beds. Showers were great, as was the washer/dryer for our clothes. Having a FREE parking space was really nice, too.
The place was really close to all of the main attractions of York, as well. We were able to walk to just about everywhere we wanted to see. ”

“Had everything we need to cook our meals with, we were there for 17 nights while working.
Great heating system, lots of walks and a surprise welcome pack upon arrival.
Great stay away from home.
Only two small issues and only because my husband was working night shifts - RAF fly over on a regular basis making it quite hard to sleep and a skylight in the bedroom, so no issues at all if you're not trying to sleep through the day.”
