The staff were lovely the location was great. The hotel is dated and the rooms are dated and a bit rough around the edges but the mattresses were comfy so made for a good night's sleep.

Room was clean with facilities that were a bit dated, the staff were excellent and very helpful . Plenty of parking within the square in front of the pub. Excellent cooked breakfast if that’s what you start the day with. Enjoyable stay.

Used the hotel as a base for a weekend break. Bedroom was comfy, quiet, and the shower was a good 'un. Everything I needed... oh, and the breakfast was cooked just the way I like it. I'll be staying again if I'm ever down that way again 👍

I was in Rm 4, a small twin with ensuite. The window opened (hood) but unfortunately, right onto the alley where the cooking fan vented. It was quite loud but did stop before bedtime. Breakfast was surprisingly included and very tasty. Did not have dinner as there was nothing small that I wanted to eat. I was later told by a customer that you could order half portions of the main menu items. I didn’t realize this and would have done so. Good drafts on tap, staff were friendly but the room was a dingy, hairs in the bathroom (that weren’t mine) and the lighting made it hard to read in the room. It was good enough for one evening.
