Gorgeous hotel, so I’m gutted that the whole experience was let down by one staff in the morning on 18/02/25
Firstly, given no instruction on breakfast and how it’s served! Granted I know on my part I could have been proactive and seen cornflakes etc which was in a hidden away corner that wasn’t in my direct eye sight, so this wasn’t the problem for me so much, the general instruction was more a nice to have and to add to the customer experience.
Where it doesn’t become a nice to have is when I asked ‘how does breakfast work?’, as I didn’t realise I had to order, I was sat for 10 mins or so where the lady had plenty opportunity to ask, but she didn’t, so I politely asked ‘excuse me’ and was met with attitude!!!! Where a simple question turned into a chore? The one positive I’ll give about the service is the chef did manage to get out my breakfast really quick, which was okay
