Luvin by the Riverside

  • Let the gentle rush of the river fill your ears and calm your soul as you unwind along the peaceful banks below. This is more than a cabin — it's a place to reconnect, to breathe deeply, and to remember what matters most.

Cozy up with your loved one in the hammock and let the river whisper back the reasons you fell in love. Slip into the hot tub beneath the open sky and feel your stress drift away with the current. Every detail of this retreat invites you to slow down and savor the moment.

Inside, you'll find glorious views of the forest and flowing water from nearly every angle. The stunning master bath offers a spa-like escape, complete with a large claw-foot tub perfect for long, lingering soaks. A charming screened-in porch overlooks the river, creating the perfect setting for morning coffee or evening wine. With ample space to relax and reconnect, this cabin was designed for meaningful moments.

Come let the river remind you. Stay awhile. Fall in love all over again.

Beautiful Home

My grandkids loved the river, the cows and chickens!! A stunning home that was a delight to stay in. The only thing that was tricky was finding the house in the dark.

Best Honeymoon Getaway!

Thank you for Everything! 1st time here. We had the best time together as newlyweds. The views, peace and quiet, even the people. We love nature. It truly was what we needed & wanted plus more! We had so much fun and relaxation time within the 4 days we stayed. Although it was our honeymoon; this trip was more so a healing experience for the both of us! 11 years together so we also celebrated our Anniversary as well. We will be back very soon. This is such a lovely place to stay with your lover and friends!

Gorgeous Secluded Cabin

We had a beautiful time staying here! All the amenities we needed and a lovely dining screened in porch area to eat and spend time on! The master bedroom is stunning with the claw foot tub as the center piece. There’s plenty of space and beautiful touches. Definitely will be booking again!

The pictures don't do it justice!

We had a great weekend at this cabin. The photos really don't show how lovely it is. The beds were very comfortable, the hot tub was wonderful, and the beautiful deck and outdoor fireplace were enjoyable even on a cold winter day!

March Getaway

Great cabin, the outdoor fireplace was incredible, it’s right on the deck, we used it almost every night. Beautiful secluded spot. Wi-Fi was great, television was good. We couldn’t use the indoor gas fireplace as there was no batteries in the remote. I assumed the owners didn’t want guests using it. There is an outdoor sauna next to the house but guests can’t use it, that would have been a big plus for the cabin. I definitely give this cabin 5 stars, based on the outdoor fireplace alone.

Needs a major overhaul in cleanliness and updating furniture, etc.

Let me preface this by saying we love the location and it is a great spot to spend an enjoyable weekend with friends, but…This is the 5th time we have stayed here since 2016, and we have to say that we were extremely disappointed with the cleanliness and condition of the house. You have not changed any furniture since the first time we came. The outside furniture by the fireplace, where we spend the majority of our time, is non-functional and embarrassing. You put in the patio below the deck which is nice, but once again, the tables and chairs are disgusting and there aren’t enough. The drawers in the kitchen are dirty and a complete mess…we had to clean every utensil and pan before we used them. Also, you list this as accommodating 9 people, but the kitchen table is lopsided and wobbly and only has 4 chairs. Luckily the weather was great and we could eat at the table on the screened porch. But once again, we had to clean the chairs before we used them. And this wasn’t because of the pollen, they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Don’t know about the other bathrooms, but the main floor shower curtain was very moldy. In general, the house hasn’t been deep cleaned for who knows how long and it is rundown. One other thing is the number of carpenter bees…amazing and a real problem. The bottom line is we love that place and that is why we keep coming back, but we all agreed that we can’t pay that much money for a substandard venue. You need to completely clean, and replace a big chunk of the furniture and kitchen ware. I have taken pictures to support those claims. Thank you.

Fireplace

I will start by telling you the best part about this place. The outdoor fireplace. The fireplace made our trip. Now that being said, now let's talk about why I wouldn't come back. The cleanliness of this place was by far the worst I have ever been in. The main floor bathroom toilet set still had stuff on it. Spiderwebs all over. The utensils drawer was very cluttered. I pulled out a pan and it still had food stuck in it like someone used it and just put it back in the cabinet. When you open a drawer the bottom cabinet door opens. I could go on and on but I think you get the picture. All and all I can work with most of the faults but the cleaning part I can't deal with. We left the place a lot cleaner than we found it. Hopefully, the owners will look into these issues and work on these things so the next guests has a better visit.

Looks can be deceiving

We were very excited for this cabin and had stayed at multiple Lydia Mountain properties prior to this one. Unfortunately, our trip started with being swarmed by hundreds of carpenter bees, followed by being locked out of the property and unable to get a hold of anybody because there’s no reception at the cabin. Once we were able to get in the cabin, it was very cool and eclectic but was not cleaned well among having multiple other issues. The guest service staff was helpful when we were on property to try to remedy our problems, but I was told multiple different responses and in the end, after writing multiple emails was ignored by Tiffany in customer service and wouldn't respond to my requests. From someone who has a background in hospitality, I find this completely unacceptable. I will say the other staff members were great, and did their best to try to help us with the multiple problems we experienced. As a rental company, if you are renting out somebody’s private property, both parties need to be on the same page. I find the disconnect frustrating. Hopefully—should we decide to come back—we have a much better experience next time.

Weekend stay

Great location and setting. Interior wasn't very clean. Found melted ice and dirt, sticky stuff and a partial bottle of rum left in freezer. Cob webs throughout house. Glass top on table on bottom level porch was shattered. Trash can on screen porch was full when we arrived. Downstairs vanity light had no working light bulbs. I replaced one from upstairs middle vanity light to give guests light in that bathroom. Air filters were filthy and the return covers as well. Master shower still had soap and debris left on tile inset shelf. Hot tub on rear porch cover torn open in the middle letting water debris in and no chemicals or test strips to verify if the water was sanitary, so we didn't use. Lower level patio head uneven pavers out to yard edge, trip hazard. No bedside clocks and several lamps & overhead lights with burned out light bulbs. These items should be addressed on a ongoing basis. Didn't use or try TV's. Have pictures at arrival and departure if you would like can forward. Again, great location and would most likely rent again..
