Top Eagles Nest Lake Number Three Hotel Reviews
Motel Ely
10/10 Excellent
"Very cute property. The bed was very comfortable, one of the best motel beds I’ve been in! Front desk was super kind and welcoming. My only ‘issue’ was the shower… it would go from an ideal temperature to scalding hot, back to normal, and then to freezing cold and back to normal repeatedly. Other than that it was a great stay and I would definitely go back. "
"Great spot! Plenty of room to cook, great fishing, quiet, and relaxing. We launched our small 12 foot boat which was awesome. A word of advice, if your boat is bigger than that, you might want to launch at the resort across the lake so there’s adequate space to back in. The lake is a short walk down the hill through a pretty path. I caught my first very large bass (a mounter!) and our dog who is fighting terminal cancer can happy and comfortable. He really liked the fan that was in the office. Lake is pristine with great swimming and sunsets. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks to the hosts for a great stay! "
"What a great location! Located on the east end of the lake with a beautiful sunset view and the winds blowing in our screened in windows we got plenty of fresh air and lake views. The hospitality was top notch and the cabin was everything it needed to be. Simple accommodations but comfortable and clean. Jay and Lulu were the best hosts and daily made sure we had everything we needed!"

"Fairly secluded within a couple block walk to downtown Tower. Group of guys north for golfing had a great time. Had an issue with internet access but the host was right on it. While it says sleeps 12, it would be tight unless spouses come with. There are 6 beds, many of them capable of sleeping 2, but this group of guys sleep in their own beds. There is room to set up inflatables. Thats the only thing incam say anywhere near critical of the property. Id stay here again in a heartbeat. Each room has a TV.Keep in mind, youre in northern Mn so many city comforts are just not available. But this is why i like going north, to get away.Benchwarmers nar and grill is a short roughly 2 block walk. And one of the best breakfast locations is .4 miles away, good ol days cafe. Zupa grocery is only open until 6pm in tower. The property is fairly secluded, or atleast it felt.that way. We may consider this property next winter if we do a big snowmobile ride.Book with confidence, property is nice and host is fantastic."

"Property was great. Muskie fishing was terrible. No muskies were caught after many hours of fishing by experienced muskie hunters. Caught some walleyes to eat. "
