「A spacious and comfortable lodge with a pleasant view of the lake (not the marina). It is in a quiet spot slightly uphill from the marina itself. Apart from the Canada geese on the grass, we saw tufted ducks on the lake, a heron in the reeds and oystercatchers on the grass. Plus other birds in the trees. Please note that the cooling towers are not visible from the lodge because of the trees. In any case they are decommissioned.」

「We had a fantastic holiday in The Stables. It is very stylish and comfortable with lots of lovely touches. The welcome hamper was fantastic. We really appreciated Natalie and Dan catering for my wife’s food intolerances. Our cocker spaniel was also extremely well catered for with treats and toys. The mud wash with hot and cold water was really useful after walks in the countryside. The Stables is in an idyllic setting with lots of lovely walks on the doorstep.
