Wake up each morning to beautiful natural light at this charming, three-bedroom home in East Sandwich. From this lovely property, you'll have wonderful access to Sandy Neck Beach only a mile north, with serene public lands and the Sandy Neck Lighthouse just a few miles beyond.

Stroll home from the beach each afternoon to be greeted by an outdoor shower, a small front patio, and a back deck where you can light the grill, kick back and relax, and continue to soak up the summer sun. Inside, the house is bright and welcoming, offering a country-inspired kitchen with butcherblock countertops, a six-person dining room table, and space for more casual meals and snacks at the breakfast bar.

As the day's swimsuits and beach towels spin in the washer/dryer, you can set up a board game in the front living room, stream a movie on the smart TV in the sunroom, or head outside to roast marshmallows around the firepit.

Evergreen is scheduled to maintenance the yard every Wednesday during summer.

The one full bathroom is upstairs on the second floor.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Very cute home and nice location. All basic convenience items in kitchen. There have been some appliance issues that are being fixed. Nice nature views from windows inside home.

⸻We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The house itself is extremely clean, quiet, and very secluded—exactly what we were hoping for. Once we were inside, everything was perfect and we had an amazing trip.One thing I would recommend for future guests is to let the host know if you’ll be arriving after dark. The property is very secluded, and the driveway can be difficult to find at night. There are no street lights, and figuring out how to get through the gate and locate the keypad in the dark was a bit challenging. There is a flood light near the driveway, but it didn’t help much with visibility at the entrance. We did call in for assistance, and the representative was wonderful—stayed on the phone with us and guided us until we were in safely.Overall, it was a great stay and we would absolutely return. Just plan ahead if you’re arriving after sunset!

I took a deeper look at the reviews after we arrived and agree with the 2/7 ones. The couch in the sunroom was worn out and dirty, the throw pillows were also worn out and dirty. Upstairs bathroom had been cleaned but the calk around the floor and bath was old and stained. There was a full bag of garbage in the kitchen. The basement was a mess, everything covered in spider webs, damp, and worst was the dryer that didn’t work. Called the Vacasa local property manager, he was nice and said that they would fix or replace the dryer right away but nothing happened. The whole house inside and outside hadn’t been maintained by the owners and is really starting to show it. Unless you are not picky about things like these I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Mold in bathroom on the ceiling, on the windows and in the tub molding.The bathroom sink water drainage did not drain the water and stuff would come back up. Air conditioning in one bedroom was full of dust and dirt. It was blowing out dirt in the air. Curtains were dirty and hanging off the rods. We all woke up with headaches and my sister had a bloody nose.We could not stay the entire rental commitment, due to health concerns, so left early. Pictures provided below.

House needed some updating. Day 1 coffee maker and dryer broken. Therefore not rented as listed. I called vacasa and a nice man came with coffee maker. Dryer had been broken for 1 week with no response from owner. I should have been notified not working. I requested a partial refund with no reply.

Great house, comfortable furniture and beds. Quiet neighborhood, nice neighbors. Outside could be maintained more, needed mowing and a few new plantings. Loved the town and the restaurants we ate in and of course the Tree House brewery. We plan to return!

The house needed to be cleaned well. The TV did not work. There were wet curtains in the dryer, and we could not use it as the lint light was flashing, indicating that the lint trap was full. The outside had many dead plants on the deck and generally needed to be tended. Ants were crawling around the kitchen. The furniture and throw pillows were dirty. The rugs were dirty. After complaining, the owner refunded the cleaning fee. It was close to the beach, but I wasn't comfortable as the house was pretty dirty.

Really well kept and clean. I read reviews complaining about spiders, but there really weren’t any, and the few I did see, were out of the way and doing their job since there were no other bugs! Great fenced in yard. We had planned to bring our aging dog at the time of booking, but she passed away prior to us coming. She would have loved it.Kids loved the tree swing. Very private, but neighbors were friendly when going past. Really close to the beach and a quick drive to the canal and boardwalk. Kitchen was well stocked and furniture was newer and comfortable. (Some cottage rentals are full of uncomfortable wicked couches!) we’d definitely consider coming back next year!

BEWARE

This home was not at all what I expected, it was filthy! The outside was not well maintained. Mosquitoes were BRUTAL, the inside was dusty, full of cobwebs, dirty dishes left in the living room, dirty dishes in the cabinet, dirty spills all over the freezer/ fridge, the ac units were covered in black mold, broken glass outside where my kids were playing, bee hive cobwebs, dirty and leaves in the outdoor shower, but the worst part is I recieved a bunch of texts from Vacasa asking how my stay was and not one person was able to help me with this mess. I spent the entire trip answering their questions and sending photos and to this day no one has helped me get compensation/ refund for the gross state of the home. I will never rent with Vacasa again.

Cute house, great location, needs some TLC

Cute house, good layout and location. House is old and needs some TLC. Two of the three WINDOW AC units need replacing (old/loud/dirty), at least one twin bed frame needs replacing and house needs to be swept for cobwebs and insects especially in basement. Mosquitoes were terrible, a trimming back of the shrubs could help with this. Would not book again unless the issues I noted were taken care of.

This property was not what we had hoped for. When we got there, we could not access WiFi as it was not provided to us. It was challenging to get through to Vacasa to get help with this. There was only one AC unit for the whole downstairs and the vents were full of visible mold. We had to run it as it was so warm and stuffy. After the first day, the front door code stopped working. We had to call Vacasa for help, which again took a long time on the phone. The house overall did not seem very clean; the rug in the downstairs bath was dirty and did not look like it had been washed in quite some time. The toilets did not flush easily and the one upstairs clogged. After a shower upstairs, there was a message revealed in the fogged up mirror that said "You're Next!" which was disturbing. Overall, this rental was a disappointment.

Lovely stay

This rental was the perfect spot for us. The way this house is laid out makes it feel cozy yet spacious. Inviting kitchen and dining area. I short drive/walk to the most beautiful beach area in Barnstable.
