“My room was huge and loved the extra make up counter. The bed was very comfortable. Very convenient to downtown! Front desk is always so welcoming. Big lobby and the cafe and bar were nice, they just take a little bit of time, so if you are in a hurry this maybe isn't the best option. Overall the location and size of rooms are worth it.”

“I room was spacious, clean and the property was well kept. However, we did have a problem with the AC in the living area of the room. It was wasn’t work, maintenance was called and they came relatively quickly to fix it. It worked for that day and the next, it stopped working again. Maintenance came again and the replaced the unit. The front desk manager called and apologized for the inconvenience and offered us a bottle of champagne but, my wife and I don’t drink. Then they offered a $30……

“What a gem! I chose The Tennessean for my first trip to Knoxville to tour UTK with my daughter, and it exceeded every expectation. As a former luxury hotel professional, I can confidently say their standards of service and cleanliness are top-tier. The entire staff was incredibly courteous and helpful, and the property itself is beautiful, immaculate, and loaded with wonderful amenities. We loved using the gym, and taking their golf cart shuttle to dinner one night was an absolute highlight!……

“A dump! Peeling paint, the room smelled stale, slovenly person at the front desk, bugs in the room , dirty furniture, and no continental breakfast as they had advertised. Further, they absolutely refused to print out a bill detailing the charges.”
