The waterfront location was very nice and peaceful, however, room updates would make this venue more desirable. When booking, we were under the impression this was a part of the Moran Mansion property (which at one time it may have been, but not anymore). The mansion is now closed and owned by a new owner who is renovating. The booking site was somewhat unclear on some details, but staff were kind and helpful.

Since the main museum and building was being renovated, we didn't get to visit there, but the bay view was very nice and we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Nice roomy and convenient for us to go whale watching.

We stayed in a deluxe suite, it was obviously recently done and looked immaculate, including linens and towels; the suite had 2 balconies with view over the bay. On the negative side there were no restaurants open in Rosario but Eastsound is a less than a 10 minute drive and there were several there. Very close to Moran Nationalpark, plenty of hiking and scenery; the Moran mansion however is closed.

The room was clean and had a great view of the bay. Being the off season it was very quiet. Not much was open in the immediate area, with was OK as we did not have crowds. But we did not get to use the restaurant or kayaks. Will have to come back during he peak season and try again. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. Neighbors were noisy but with the slider closed you could not really hear them. No fireplace in this room. Never did get a chance to meet he staff.

Checking in was a hassle. Person didn’t set key codes in time. People waited around in the hall for awhile and the guy never showed up personally. He changed the codes at some point but didn’t call any of us to tell us so. Room was great.

Mother’s Day Weekend 2026: The Maison is CLOSED. The advertising online Expedia may have you thinking that the Rosario Maison is open but No it is not. The room we stayed in is in adjacent building on Rosario property. You have access to private beach area and private garden. The room has Roku, microwave, coffee. There is no noise filtering. People came in the middle of the night and they were so loud. There is no staff onsite. Contactless entry code. The advertising on Expedia about where you will actually be staying is deceiving.

The hotel & spa is out of business. I arrived and everything looked abandoned. I tried calling the number on the door, no one answered. I went to the restaurant down the block who is under construction. They helped me figure out where I was supposed to go. About a mile away, I went into this building, and the lady showed me where the building and room was. There were no stores or restaurants nearby. I was by myself and did not feel comfortable leaving my room. You need to look into this property, it is very deceiving. The Village & Spa is out of business!

This is such a gorgeous piece of property. The rooms weren't bad. The bed was extremely cozy and the sheets were so soft. There was plenty of towels and coffee left in the room. The downside to this resort is they have no staff members on site and the main hotel with all the amenities is completely shut down (restaurant, bar, gym...) Expedia shows all these amenities up and running. I was looking forward to a romantic 2-day getaway with my man just at the resort (all inclusive) but we ended up having to find things to do. This property is definitely worth revisiting when it's fully functioning. When visiting go during the day so you can find your way to your room. It's pretty dark and hard to navigate in the dark. There was a couple of us driving around looking for our building. Walking around the main hotel is pretty neat. It needs some TLC but the grounds are gorgeous and pretty maintained. Pack a lunch and sit out on one of their many lawns with all the water views <3
