“The Green Fish was really nice, cozy place to stay. I loved the quiet of the area. I also appreciated the outdoor seating and firepit (with plenty of fire wood). I'm a bigger guy and I had no trouble getting into the lofted beds. The house lets in a lot of light as soon as the sun comes up so I recommend a sleep mask if you plan to sleep in. This was never an issue for us though. Our host had great communication, but honestly, we didn't have any issues so there was never any need for us to make……

“We enjoyed the stay very much. Check in is easy. The place was just as presented online. It is in the country so it is very quiet and there are farm animals that you can pet. The house is stalked with multiple incidentals that are easy to forget when traveling. We will be staying again next month during a return trip to the area.”

“A perfect place - lovingly cared for by the hosts. It truly felt like staying in a family member’s home. Thoughtful details were provided- tea and coffee (including decaf), snacks,; shops 10 minutes away, but home was out in the peace and quiet of the country with sweeping views. Near to the beauty of the Grand Mesa. A few additional things would make it more manageable and safer for elderly and disabled persons such as grab bars in the shower. ”

“Nice glamping experience. Bed was comfortable, coffee good, good location. Separate bathroom was clean and serves 4 cabins. We were there during the week into the weekend. We had the bathrooms to ourselves during the week. All four cabins were filled for the weekend, but no long waits for bathroom access! I am an early riser though. I liked it. Paonia is pretty slow, I would not go back to spend time there. We were OHV riding. ”

“Adorable little cabin, super comfy bed and a porch with a beautiful view. Only downfall was the traffic noise from the highway but this also meant it was easy access to hit the road and head to the great outdoors. I would definitely book here again.”
