This listing is for the three bedroom, two bath Main House at the Meadowsweet Compound. It is available only in the shoulder seasons with a two night minimum. During prime summer weeks we only rent the entire compound (VRBO # 1235701) which includes Butterfly Cottage (VRBO# 1412862) and this listing (VRBO # 1900172) for the Main House alone. The entire compound may be available in shoulder seasons. Please inquire about rates if you're interested in the entire compound during the shoulder seasons. This listing is only for the Main House during shoulder seasons with a two night minimum stay. Car is required.

Peaceful Chappy!

Great stay at Meadowsweet. After a day at the beach, my husband and I sat outside chatting with a glass of wine. A perfect long weekend to unwind. We had a problem finding the key we never used upon our departure. (It quickly reappeared) but Van was so helpful and understanding. Thanks Van

Peaceful Getaway

We were looking for a quiet getaway to pause and reflect. Meadowsweet provided that peaceful experience. Chappy is a lovely island and the beaches are truly special. The ferry is an easy hop and a fun adventure, giving you a sense of getting away but still providing easy access. I recommend Meadowsweet for anyone who is looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful location.

Much Needed Relaxation

We had a fantastic time relaxing and the home was a perfect place to get away from busy lives with friends and family. Van was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The house had everything we needed, plus some cute animals in nature from afar! 10/10 recommend!

Ideal Chappy stay

Seven adult relatives landed at this beautiful, well-appointed property for a weekend family memorial celebration. It was ideally situated for walking the Chappy Trail to the community center where the memorial was held and to Katama Bay where local relatives reside. All seven of us were very comfortable and had plenty of space to both gather together and get away from each other too :). More family from Connecticut drove in for the memorial and we were all able to hang out together on the generous screened porch with snacks and lots of catching up. One brother- and sister-in-law in our group are ardent travelers and were really impressed with the home. They said they had never seen such a well-equipped kitchen in any VRBO or rental home. It was truly a home away from home. Thanks much to the host!

Very clean and comfortable and quiet, only 10 minutes from Chappy beaches . Well equipped kitchen and modern washer and dryer. Wifi , cable and cell reception excellent . Very responsible owner who cares about the renters experience .

Great spot hidden in the middle of Chappy

We have been going to the vineyard for years, first time staying on Chappy. Get house and there is a second house on the property which is perfect for coming with a larger group.
