Sole access to my fully equipped home (2nd floor): 2 bedrooms (1 as super-king OR 2 large single beds, and 2nd as super-king), living/dining room, bathroom, kitchen. The space If you choose to stay in my place, I know you’ll love it as a home-from-home experience.
My home makes for a luxurious, cosy, colourful and unique place to settle in or explore from.
It is an ideal base for getting out into the city centre, immersing yourself in this thriving local residential area, getting a taste of the coast, or for staying in, entertaining and relaxing - or just recovering from your excursions!

In return I need you to take care of and respect me and my home. Specifically, this means: - no shoes indoors - no parties - no pets - no smoking / vaping - be kind & respectful, and don't touch or steal* my things - it hurts and is rude and unkind. *I know - you'd be amazed what some guests do...!
Note - if you plan to bring children or babies - be prepared to 'manage them' within the house. It's has not been 'child-proofed'.
Please know what you're choosing here. This is a home that I manage remotely - not a hotel with reception services and facilities. Be realistic about what you can expect from this type of accomodation and hospitality experience.
Also for elimination of any misunderstanding about what 'Modern' is. My home is designed around the MID-CENTURY MODERN style. This is a period of architecture-style and furnishing designs that are from the mid-1900s. It's a specific thing. So my home has 'some old and unusual stuff' in it. It's not straight out of Ikea. I hope it's what you'll appreciate about it.
Location Description: The apartment is situated 100 meters from Portobello promenade and beach. There is a good range of restaurants, bars and coffee shops within walking distance. The neighbourhood of 'Porty' is a favourite of Edinburgh locals of all ages.
