60th Birthday Celebrations
Had a fab stay at the Fingal to celebrate my brother-in-laws 60th birthday. This place is amazing. The staff go above and beyond and nothing is to much trouble, felt very special from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We will be back in the near future Thank you Fingal staff.

Beautifully finished rooms and common areas. Only had breakfast on board so I cant comment on dinner but breakfast was great. Service was excellent all round. Now the Tram runs from just outside the ship into the city centre and beyond to the Airport - get a multiway ticket for a great way to get around. Fingal is not cheap but it's a unique experience so go on treat yourself to a stay - you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing, we were met on the red carpet by an extremely helpful member of the crew our room wasn’t quite ready so indulged in a cheeky drink while waiting. Our bags were delivered to our beautiful room, the added luxury of chocolates, gorgeous lotions and potions, we had a balcony not the weather for sitting out but added to the ambiance. Breakfast was delicious as was the evening meals. Could not fault it in any way. An amazing birthday surprise Thank you to all the crew nothing was too much trouble you were all magnificent. We will be back

This was a great stay. I was there for my birthday and received a lovely box of chocolates and personalised note in my room. The whole experience was amazing. Great detail and luxury in the whole hotel. Staff were great could not do enough. Drinks in bar were good and the breakfast was superb. Wold definitely recommend this place to stay at least once. I is faultless

A memorable night
Fantastic -Ruy was enthusiastic and warm and very helpful. Our duplex room was fantastic. It made our night very special for my 85 yr old mother. Dinner was delicious as was the breakfast. Tickets to Brittania were a bonus. Overall I’d recommend and will return w/hubby.

A wonderful stay on a truly beautiful ship. The cabins are luxurious, stylish and comfortable. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the bar, restaurant and sun decks are luxurious and well appointed. The complimentary tickets to Britannia were a surprising bonus. Adding this to my list of favourite hotels in Edinburgh along with the Prestonfield and The Whitchery.

Fantastic location near the water with easy walking to restaurants and Pubs. Tram service to town center is 2 min walk away. The Fingal, a unique and relaxing hotel and is must stay if in Edinburgh. Accommodations, staff, food, and drink are 5 stars all around. Recognizing that there is long term improvement going on in the area, it does not detract from the beauty and history of the area. If shopping is your thing, don't miss the incredible center located in the same center as the must see Royal Yacht Britannia.

Exceptional
Exceptional, amazing, worth every penny. The Fingal and her crew were faultless. From walking up the red carpet. To feeling like royalty. The rooms were to an outstanding standard. Even to the finer points. Highly recommend and will be looking forward to our next voyage. Shame the Fingal is hard moored and can’t sail out into the harbour. But this is knit picking. Truly outstanding place.
