Nice hotel with good amenities, couldn’t get closer to the tram for heading in to city centre or airport. Stayed here twice now and will stay again. Staff have always been helpful and pleasant.

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Amazing staff, polite and trying to help you, big room, comfortable bed, lovely location 20 min from city centre by tram 2 min walk from hotel. Shopping areas around, Costa, huge Tesco, Aldi as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location is approx 20 min by tram to Princess Street, the team runs every 10 min. 5 min to arrive at the airport. The rooms are big and clean, the staff is kind. I highly recommend this hotel as is just 2 min walking away from the tram stop, very good price/quality rapport.

Swimming pool water was not temperature controlled and tool much of chlorine used. I got fever after taking a swim.

Dear Kuldip, we are terribly sorry to hear that you found our pool temperature too low. It is actually checked twice a day including with the quality of water. Also, the water quality is randomly checked by representative of the council once a month, including the chlorine to ensure our public pool is always up to the required standard. We thank you for your kind feedback, but we do not wish to make false promise that the temperature of the pool will be different the next time you may stay with us, because it was up to standard and we even had baby swim that day in the pool without any reported concern. Very Enjoyable Stay at Novotel
The Novotel was a very good hotel. Very clean, lovely staff and tasty breakfast. Our room was nice and we even used the pool and steam room! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great hotel and good value!
Lovely hotel! The staff were really nice and friendly, the room was big and comfy and the breakfast was nice. Very convenient for airport and the short tramride to the city center. What more could you wish for!

The macaroni cheese meal was very dry and bland added to which there were some guests with very bad language in the restaurant

Couldnt fault the hotel
Very pleasant stay. Room was clean and tidy and shower was excellent. Having stayed in Novotels before would definetely use again. Dog was a little confused by the revolving door but soon got the hang of it. Perect location to catch the tram into Edinburgh. Only disappointment was that dog wasnt allowed in the bar area or the restaurant (restaurant I can understand (or so we were told) but there was a table and stools outside this area for 4 people to sit just have to hope that no other couples with dog occupied them.

Another good stay
As usual with this Novotel we had a comfortable stay. Very handy for the tram for trips into town. Love the availability of the swimming pool. A very good and plentiful breakfast with both hot and cold options. All in all a great stay and it is easy access from the motorway.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was pretty clean and well equipped. The TV was a little hard to manage without a menu and the pool wasn’t the cleanest and was quite busy. The gym was equipped with very old but well maintained equipment. We didn’t dine there it was a wee bit too expensive. 25 mins drive from the centre easy to miss the turn off with the satnav
