"I have wanted to stay at Sunbird since 1990 but could never afford it. Possibly my last trip to Malawi I thought I would treat myself. I was very disappointed. The hotel is run down and the restaraunt had after 3 selections not one available. If returning to Mzuzu I will book at the Grand Palace ..."

"It’s a bit off the road, but nice and clean. A simple place with “no frills “. We ate well and rested well also. Be sure and ask for directions, Google maps takes you to the wrong place!"
