Location - Amazing ✅ Staff & service - Fantastic ✅ Cleanliness - Great ✅ Electricity/hot water - Fantastic ✅ this is great hotel, El nido is an island in a third world country so expect minor glitches, The staff were fantastic when you get talking to them, treat them with kindness and they reflect it right Back at you which is beautiful. We extended our stay for another 4 nights. Stay in a delux room on the 4th floor. You have a whole roof top to yourself.

Tämän keskeisemmältä sijainnilta ei hotellia el nidosta löydy. Siisti huone ja kaikki toimi niinkuin pitää. Erityisen hyvä wifi yhteys sitä tarvitsevalle. Ilmaista kahvia tarjolla 24/7. Vaikka hotelli sijaitsee pääkadulla niin melu ulkoa ei kantautunut huoneeseen asti eli rauhassa sai nukkua

STAY AWAY from this place
Absolute everything about this so called "hotel" is terrible. They have no idea what customer service is ! Check in went wrong, got wrong room twice. Room without aircon that didnt work, forgot to clean the room one day caused by "no housekeepers" on duty !

For starters the room booked wasn’t a seaview as advertised and payed for. Sliding door in the room didn’t close properly so we could hear all the noise from the streets and surrounding pubs until early hours of the morning. Check in went fairly smoothly even though we maid a last minute reservation. Otherwise could have been better for the money spent. Location is in the busy part of town though..

Catherine, the receptionist, was very friendly and went out of her way one evening to find medications for us after all the local stores were closed. We were very appreciative.

Nice view of the bay if you get a deluxe room on the top floor (4th Floor). Power outage everyday in the entire town. No wifi in the rooms. Wifi is week (all of El Nido). The AC was not hooked to the generator so I was dying in heat. Couldn't sleep. The TV had issues which they couldnt fix. The staff was quite incompetent. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Necessities?
Wifi and AC are 2 of the most important things IMO. No Wi-Fi. Said was"weak." Needed to go 3blocks to restaurant for Wifi. Fo ac to work well in tropical climate the unit has to push the cold air and bathroom vent fan has to help eliminate hot air. In our case bathroom fan not working. System fail . Only stayed one night which was good. Nice view from 3rd floor over buildings of water. Short walk thru buildings to beach where boat tour launched.

Le séjour dans cet hôtel a été compliqué au début avec deux nuits sans pouvoir dormir à cause de la clim très bruyante. Finalement, le personnel nous a fait déménager dans une chambre avec une clim plus silencieuse. La rue est passante est bruyante également. Le wifi ne fonctionne pas du tout même dans le hall. Mais bon, nous sommes sur une île et nous avons comme même passé un bon séjour.

Perfect location!
Rooftop room, awesome view of the harbor. Great location, ceiling fan, however no elevator so we had to go up 4 cases of stairs. Wifi didn't work, bathroom can be improved.

Worst Hotel Ever! Don't stay here!!!!
The worst hotel we've ever stayed in. Upon arrival we were "welcomed" by unfriendly girl who took us to the room ( dark hole) . There was no window so we asked for the room with it and we were told that we didn't request for room with window !! So she then said she will find another room for us next day but since that she never get back to us. The room was very small,smelling like a poo,air con didn't work,shower was filthy and dirty,the bed looked 80 years old and like a single one and mattress very uncomfortable. Wifi didn't work AT ALL and when we asked staff to do something with that,they didn't care. We have seen many people complaining about broken shower,no hot water,wifi and milion other things and staff seemed to don't care. Get ready they switch off electricity in Palawan every day for some certain times and in the room with no windows it's quite big problem. We would never stay here again,for the price we paid,you can find much much better hotels in the area. This was a nightmare and don't really understand how someone can rate this hotel positively as this was horrible! Please take this as a warning and avoid this hostel!!!

First night no hot water. 2nd night no AC. Also, no shower curtain and bed only had thin sheets no blanket.

Péssimo Hotel!!
Hotel completamente sem estrutura, limpeza e condições. Ficamos 4 noites, nunca limparam o quarto (nem para colocar toalhas e papel higiênico). Staff que parece estar fazendo um favor a qualquer solicitação. O banheiro estava com uma água totalmente preta saindo do chuveiro e das torneiras...pedi ajuda na recepção e me disseram que era normal pois o quarto estava há mais de um mês sem hospedes. Sem contar que quiseram nos cobrar mais caro os passeios que qualquer agência próxima. Péssima estadia!

The stay was overall great, only one negative feedback would be that the wifi wouldn't work in the rooms (only in the lobby).

Average at its best - I grade it a 3/5.
I will not return if I had other options. Aircon was not working well, we had to transfer to another room. Not much amenities to talk about. Staff was very nice though.

Clean but not convenient
To be a Hotel should have a restaurant, when we booking it says have a Wifi but only in the lobby what it says in room even in the lobby it wasn't good. I have a friend/tour guide with me and I'm paying his room, time of check out, I disappointed for charging me 6 percent surcharge on my travel cash card then she issued receipt only for not including the surcharge. Her attitude it so bad when I ask for receipt for the I paid.

Excellent Stay
Though, WIFI didn't reach our room, we were still so happy with the service that we received from the hotel's staff. Our stay was exceptional. I will come back to El Nido and stay at this hotel again.

Nice stay..
We liked the proximity of this hotel because it is really accessible everywhere. Almost beach front and restaurants are everywhere. I am just hoping that the wifi would reach the hotel room and not only at the lobby. It would also be bettet if they would serve free breakfast. Overall, i loved my stay at Garnett.

Great location!
The hotel is located near good restaurants, as well as the port (where most of the tours' pickup points). The staff are accomodating, clean room and facilities but the t&b door's not closing properly and the water supply's quite weak. They also have a balcony w port view. Overall, I still recommend this hotel.

They claim on-line to have laundry service - they do NOT. The wifi is only in the lobby, and it's horrible (as the staffs kids use it up for games). Couldn't get a signal on the cellular network in the room. The building looks very new, and is generally nice.

Wi-Fi、ランドリー、貸し出しのドライヤーがあると設備の項目にありましたが、実際はありませんでした。 シャワーはお湯になるまでに10分〜15分出しっ放しにする必要があります。ホットシャワーになった場合の水圧は絶望的です。 いろんな国の安宿も利用したことがありますが、この料金でこのクオリティはありません。 窓があるデラックスルームを予約しましたが、窓がある部屋はエアコンが壊れているのでこちらをどうぞと窓無しの部屋に通されました。エアコンが壊れていたとしても一度デラックスルームを見てみたいと伝えると、実はデラックスルームは使用中で見せられないと言われました。 ではデラックスルームの分の料金を返して欲しいと伝えると、今度は、この窓がない部屋もデラックスルームだと言い出しました。 立地は便利でした。 ランドリーはホテル内にありませんでしたが、斜め前の建物に洗濯屋さんがあります。

PAS DU TOUT DE WI FI !!! On a essentiellement choisi cet hôtel pour ça mais l'hôtel m'a assuré qu'il y avait des horaires plus propice...c'est faux. Nous avons eu une unique rencontre fortuite avec un cafard local dans la salle de bain. Mais heureusement le service de chambre a bombardé de produit abri insecticide! Ouf! Les chambres sont nickels et les lits aussi. Mais la clim était un peu véruste du coup, ça ferait du bruit toute la nuit et j'ai eu du mal à dormir. Pas de possibilité de se doucher après le Check out(11h). Notre vol était à 18h et nous avons été nous baigner en attendant. mais ils ont bien voulu garder nos valises le temps nécéssaire mais les salles de bains pour visiteurs étaient encore en travaux...impossible de se doucher.

Hotel is by the beach but you can't swim there!
1. Even though the hotel is located by the ocean, you CANNOT swim on that beach because it's a boat station, so the water is very dirty and nobody is swimming there. The closest beach to swim in is 15 minutes ride on the tricycle. The surrounding area of the hotel is extremely dirty, smelly, and noisy. There is no walks for pedestrians, we had to walk on the road which is very congested by vans, cars and tricycles. It was a very unpleasant experience. All transportation is filled by diesel so the air is so polluted that it’s hard to breath. 2. The inside of the hotel was clean, TV was working fine, air con was cooling down the room ok. However, the water was barely running, it was more like dripping yellow water. There was no security box in the room. There was no comforters on the bed, just plain cotton sheets to cover at night. Tea/Coffee was available outside of the room. There was electricity outages in whole El Nido daily for hours during which the air con was not working. 3. We left El Nido very disappointed; the tourism in that place is really undeveloped. Even though the nature scenes of the ocean were beautiful, the city itself is very dirty and not upgraded for tourists at all. Also there were a lot jelly fish in the water on ALL islands we visited during islands hoping tours and El Nido beaches. Both me and my husband got bitten by jelly fish multiple time; I just stopped going into the water after that.

Basic but great location.
Hotel basic but clean. In a great area by beach. WiFi doesn't work though. Sometimes no hot water (or water at all!). Overall an enjoyable stay.
