The rooms were tiny and clean. Very quiet and peaceful. What stood out was the hospitality. The owners Dado and Marie Alvarez made everything possible to make our stay stress free. In addition to the driver and maintenance guy Jeboy Caraler took care of us specifically when I had a medical situation and drove us to the nearest Urgent care for treatments (twice), and waited for us and got my medicine from a near by pharmacy. He also drove us to the airport. I really enjoyed staying at this place. Restaurants and downtown is about 10 minutes walking.

Everything was great! They only thing was im not used to sleeping on a hard mattress. If you are, this place is perfect. A quick 10 minute walk to El Nido and away from the city noise.

I loved this place. Filipino hospitality at its best. Very comfortable, safe and clean. Wi-Fi, AC and hot water shower works great. Free coffee tea and filtered water in common area. Filtered water provided inside the room for convenience too. The family will help arrange tours, laundry, and free drop off to El Nido town. It’s just 10 minutes walking to everything you need in El Nido town, but with a quiet and homey feel. Dining options nearby. Excellent food at Alimos just 2 buildings away. Highly recommend this place. Salamat po!

I had an excellent time. The staff is very friendly which was my favorite part of staying here. It's located in a village but the town center is walkable. It's a very quiet area. I'll highly recommend this place to stay at!

Vi havde en 4-nætters overnatning på Hutch Lodge. Da vi ankom blev vi mødt med et stort smil og en meget venlig vært. Værelset ligner billederne fuldstændigt og var i super godt stand og virkelig rent! Området er stille og der er ingen støj. Vi er blevet taget virkelig godt i mod og de har altid været super behjælpelig med at besvare spørgsmål eller hvis vi ville booke noget igennem dem. Vi lejede en scooter igennem dem og benyttede os af deres transfer retur til lufthavnen. Deres priser for scooter og lufthavnstransport er matchende med det man kunne finde i byen. Vi fik mulighed forsat tjekke senere ud. Det var virkelig dejligt, når vi skulle med et sent fly. Tusind tak for det!

Excellent stay at Hutch

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed staying at the Hutch Lodging House. The room was very clean, and all the staff were quite exceptional. Extra kudos go out to Dado and Jeboy who really helped out during my trip there. Though the facility is located a bit out of town (about a 10 min walk), the view was quite exceptional when going on my morning walks into town. If you are looking for a more quiet, relaxed place to rest, but is still close to town, you should highly consider staying at Hutch.

Never again, they overbook rooms!

One day prior I receive a fishy what’s app quoting I’ve been “upgraded” to a much nicer and expensive beach front hotel, first day of my stay, and later I’ll be acomodated back in my original hotel hutch. In coron I contacted the direct number details after a long 5 hours road trip from PPS, the I’m dropped to Thai horrible place when I’m acomkdated in a kind of maid’s room (Cadlao resort) when they didn’t want to provide me WiFi (as I was delayed at work I needed urgently to check my e mails) they me whooped my original hotel was overbooked and this is a favor they are doing to me so I don’t complain. Angry and desperate I wanted to leave to a different phage but at 12 nite not many other options. Next day the original Hutch not even offered me a breakfast or an apology. I was so upset. Pls don’t book HUTCH local management is overbooking rooms. Also I was thirsty and water bottle outside needed replacement and the staff told me bottle was heavy she cannot do it so I needed to wait an extra bite to drink water. Unbelievable

Hutch Lodging hat uns bei unserer Rundreise wirklich begeistert. Die Unterkunft liegt zwar etwas außerhalb, ist aber super schön, sehr gepflegt und extrem sauber. Das Personal war unser Highlight! Alle waren extrem lieb und hilfsbereit und haben unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz besonderem gemacht. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen :-)

This place is a gem of El Nido. Just 5 min walk away from the town and it’s completely quiet and peaceful. The whole place is incredibly clean and full of plants giving you a tropical vibe. Maybe the most important thing is that you don’t have to worry about anything since Jeboy is always around at the property always ready to help you with whatever you might need (tours, motor bike, dropping you off to the town etc.). He was the most helpful and kind person we interacted in our 3 weeks trip to Philippines and next time I come to El Nido I will contact him again!

We had a great time at the Hutch Lodge. They offer clean, comfortable, nicely decorated (rustic) rooms, with good quality toiletries. Our host was very friendly and attentive to our needs, even going above and beyond to make it easier for us to navigate beautiful El Nido. Definitely a place we would go back!
