“This is a new property in Kastraki, which is a 15 min walk or 5 euro taxi ride from the town of Kalambaka. Kastraki is a small, quaint village at the foot of the monasteries in Meteora. There is a lovely family run restaurant just at the end of the road, and a bakery across the street. The rooms themselves are well designed, modern and comfortable. For a fee, ask about late check out. It’s very much worth it given the transportation options out of Kalambaka. I’d definitely come back again!”

“We had an amazing time staying in Kalabaka at the Rock and Stone. It was easy to find, easy to access and beautiful yard to sit and enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks looking into a small gouge. The short walk down into downtown gave us ample cat sightings and more than enough choices of excellent food. The monasteries are a must!!!”

The house indeed had a majestic view, with even an attached sun room/lounge near the entrance where we could sit and watch the sun rise over the rock formations. Nikolaus was also a wonderful and helpful host. He only spoke Greek and we only spoke English - but all was well with Google Translate. We would definitely recommend this to a group of friends or family!”

“We had a private bedroom and bath on the main level of this gorgeous house. The bedroom has a small balcony overlooking the grounds. The entire property is huge and is fully fenced and gated. The property and house are very well taken care of. We had a personal tour through the garden by the wonderful owner and even given some fresh strawberries, herbs for tea making, and even a beautiful dress that the father gave my wife that is so beautiful that my wife wore it later for our Santorini……
