It was a very charming house, the host were very communicative about any problems we had and were very accommodating when we needed anything. Overall really nice stay. Only downside is parking is limited but we made it work.

We did a lot of cooking and everything we needed was there. Nicer knives would have been great, but we made do. The weather was very cold and the home was warm. The train is very loud. The beds were comfortable and the vibe is cozy.

Elgin Wedding Weekend

Caleb’s home was a fantastic place to stay for a family wedding weekend in Elgin. The home was comfortable, clean, convenient to everything that downtown Elgin has to offer and made our time in the area that much more wonderful. Beautiful old craftsman home that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our kids loved the game room. The beds were very comfortable. The only down side were trains going through Elgin at 5am. The host provided white noise machines which was a lovely touch but it doesn’t help much with the train horns. Other than that we loved the home!

Love this place! Our daughter plays basketball at a local college that is close by. We love this house, it’s a perfect set up for the team. The game room in the basement is great for college kids.

Perfect home for our whole family

Was in town for a family event as a family group of 8….it was perfectly spacious for our entire group! Clean and had everything to make you feel right at home, including a great little game room equipped with a pool table, dartboard and other games. Host was very responsive and helpful everytime I reached out. Highly recommend if you need a place to stay, you check out Caleb’s place!
