“A special five day holiday to Burghead reminiscing down memory lane. The cottage belonged to my Great Parents George & Mary Phillips back in the 1950’s.
Beautifully restored home & garden with lots of room & a view that I loved waking up to every morning! A seaside cottage that we treasured and will definitely be booking again next summer, this time for longer so we can explore more of Morays beautiful coastline.. ”

“The little cottages are very well thought out; just like a caravan, you really have everything you need. It's like camping, except everything is there and you only need a sleeping bag and towels (although you can get them from the owner for a small extra charge). What we liked best was the large tripod grill that each cottage has. For 5 pounds you can take firewood from a box and grill anything you've bought at the supermarket. There are lots of attractions nearby. The absolutely peaceful……

“We had a great stay. The cottage had everything we needed, plus the lovely view. Findochty is a very photogenic village, so I was out and about taking photos at all hours! On our arrival we were welcomed by dolphins frolicking in the sea in front of the cottage. The evening before our departure we were treated to the sight of a pod of orcas cruising past, quite close to the shore. ”

“Arrived at the annexe to be greeted by the host Leslie, who was very welcoming. He gave a a tour of the apartment and explained how everything worked and also gave an overview of the town of Nairn and the different places to get something to eat and the various places of interest and the popular walks etc. . “I will happily admit that I booked this not really knowing anything about the property but we needed somewhere to stay that was inexpensive. We were visiting the area to see family. The accommodation on the website says shared bathrooms- not something we really wanted but nevertheless it turned out that we had a room with our own toilet and wash basin.
