“Our stay in Elk Rapids was wonderful, clean, and cozy! The location is perfect—easily within walking distance to town (under a mile) and right across the street from Bass Lake, where we loved playing cards by the water. The town is incredibly kid- and dog-friendly. We walked to the free Monday night movies, the Wednesday street vendor market, and the Friday morning farmers market. Short’s Brewing is only a half-mile walk for great beer and food trucks, and there are three beaches within a……

“This was just right for a short stay. The place was so clean, fresh linens and towels. Good location (I will be closer to the downtown next time). Any questions about the property was quickly answered. Quiet at night. And not bad during the day, even though its on a busy street. We brought our dog. She loved walking the neighborhood. Anything you could need to cook a meal was there. Maybe adding a grill might be a thought. If you have mobility issues, you may want to consider an alternative. The……

“The house is so sweet and cozy, and it has everything you could possibly need for cooking! The beds were super comfortable, and I'm really glad we chose this place. We had a wonderful time and made some lovely memories together. One little suggestion – it would be nice to have a sign at the entrance because we all struggled to find it at first. Overall, a fantastic stay!”

“Location was great, a short walk to downtown and the waterfront. The rental was not particularly clean and was probably rushed to market after a low effort flip. Faucets and bath fixtures are not properly installed, door handles are not mounted correctly, light fixtures are limited and its often the equivalent of a plain bulb in the ceiling. Glass top range has not been properly cleaned, and has a crusty brown coating on each burner. Trim was roughly painted, just one of many details……
