A very nice owner who made an amazing breakfast. The room was nice and clean and had a stunning view. Very close to Ella city center and various restaurants as well as Nine Arches Bridge. I would really recommend this place!

Staff was wonderful. Hotel was in a residential area so very quiet. There weren't many restaurant options within walking distance but we did find one we liked. The staff was very nice, breakfast was abundant, and the view was phenom! This is close to everything. We hiked the Pekoe Trail, did Little Adams Peak, we wanted to hike Ella Ridge but it had rained all night and the trail was slippery. We'd stay here again!

Excellent view from the room. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend for anyone who doesn't mind a 15 minute walk from the city centre to get a room with unobstructed views. Breakfast is also 10/10, served at the rooftop patio.

You come here for the views which are stunning. Hospitality was great. Rooms were basic but comfortable, spacious. Electricity a bit flaky at times. Not suitable for those with mobility issues otherwise a beautiful setting.

My stay was incredible! The balcony view was mesmerizing, and I could've gazed at it for hours. Everything was flawless, and the owner's delicious breakfasts made it even better. They ensured we felt right at home.

Overall I would recommend a stay at Ella Ridge View but with a few caveats. It is a tucked away down a narrow road and a bit rough around the edges. We stayed in a room in the older building — and it wasn’t super clean. If you’re willing to look past that you will be rewarded with the best breakfast and best views. There is a family that lives on the ground floor and the staff are all very accommodating.

Dette ophold var helt fantastisk. Ejeren var meget sød og hjælpsom. Han kom med morgenmad hver morgen, som smagte virkelig godt. Det ligger et rigtig godt sted med flot udsigt. Jeg kan klart anbefale jer at bo her.

Firstly, the view was outstanding. This is the only reason you would stay here. The staff are exceptional and breakfast which is home made by Sameera is delicious. This is a small set of rooms overlooking the mountain which is currently under construction. It is clear that through this surge of tourism, theocsld are trying to make changes to their lives which I am fully supportive of. The communal outdoor space is full of construction material and construction rubbish. With that said, we were not woken up by construction noise, but were woke. Up by general noises through very thin floors. We had no water pressure. This was a major issue. I was unable to wash my body properly. Not w chance my hair. 5 star views in a 2 star hotel.

Lasantha was a fantastic host

The location & hospitality by Lasantha was amazing. He cooked us authentic Sri Lankan breakfast every morning, organised Tuk Tuk's at affordable prices & suggested a local cave to visit. Always helpful, exceptional service & pristine mountain view location. I highly recommend the hotel

The views are incredible. The staff are very helpful, they arranged a tuk tuk for us from the station and brought us breakfast each morning at a time of our choosing. It was great.

Best view in the whole city. we stayed in room no. 8 and i am sure we had the best room. the host is very welcoming and made the best breakfast. the walk to the city was easy and quick. there is no parking and the water pressure is low, but we can definitely recommend staying here. don't hesitate, the place gets 10/10❤️

I give this 5 stars based on the view alone, but the breakfast was incredible brought to out door every morning and bed and towels were clean and comfy. I highly recommend this property you will not be disappoint, except the view does make you want to do nothing but sit and enjoy it😊
