"We were so happy to find a property where we could stay in Spillville -- and the converted barn was perfect for us. It is rustic, charming, and outfitted with everything we needed -- including resident chickens who provided us with eggs and an outdoor cat who occasionally visited. We had a slight snafu at checkin, but our hosts dashed right over and resolved the issue. They were most welcoming and filled us in on the town's history and places we might like to visit."

"Nice layout with beautiful view of the lake, nice bunk bed room for kids, great entertainment room in the basement with an actual pinball machine and a foosball table with other games. Responsive host. Nice patio and a fire pit area. "

"Everyone at Hotel Capone was so friendly. The room had everything I needed for a good night's rest. The bed was so comfy. Make sure to check out the restaurant downstairs as well. It is delicious!"

"If you like a great price, this is the place to stay. The building generally needs fixing up and modernizing, but it was acceptable to me because I just wanted an affordable place to sleep overnight. The desk guy was nice and very accommodating. Breakfast was decent and most of it was unofficially available even though we had to check out at 5:15 am."

"A cozy cabin on a pond- surrounded by woods and wildlife. Kitchen is fully stocked. Comfortable beds. Host is open and responsive to questions. We enjoyed a great weekend of games by the fireplace and outdoor walks. Due to wind we were only able to build one outdoor fire but the fire ring is great. Lots of wood available. Enjoyed our time and have visited before and will be back. "
