“It was wonderful! ”

“Perfect location for our visit; one block from the Nauvoo Temple. The apartment is well stocked and the four bedrooms are spacious and comfortable for a large group. Parking is right on the street and so easy, steps from the front door. We ate at the lower level restaurant for multiple meals and it was great quality and price. The apartment is quiet and cozy and everything you would want for stopping in this small town. ”

“We had 33 or so family members meet at this location for Thanksgiving. Overall is was a great experience. The headliner is the view of the Mississippi. The property is up on a hill and provides a gorgeous view. Lisa was very responsive to all of our needs. Note that alcohol is not permitted at this location (on my phone that detail was slightly hidden in the rules section under “show more.” Thanks for a great property to reconnect with a large family!”

“Nauvoo was a mid point ti meet a family member and continue work on our family tree. The historical site was the main reason we chose Nauvoo. A little search on Vrbo, we found a historic home to stay in. What a treat! The rental was beyond the price point we usually seek but the home was the cherry on top of a wonderful visit. Very nice property”

“Our best experience to date! Greta is a wonderful hostess, she thought of everything we might need, and she was as friendly in person as she was when we discussed a couple of things online! The property was beautifully landscaped. The home full of charming items and decorated perfectly. The history of the area is showcased in a book about Nauvoo and the Town Hall has its own history that was in the photo album. “House built in 1901 so has uneven floors, but you couldn’t ask for a more charming place. So clean accommodations and everything you need to make your stay pleasurable. I would recommend and will be booking it again!!”

Each night went to keokuk Iowa to shop. Great little Mexican restaurant in Hamilton called El Camino real. Home sit on corner lot plenty of space to park and quite neighborhood. Thanks”

“The first things my children said when we arrived is that it looks like a small castle. Overall, the home was well stocked with towels, and everything was in working order. This is our first VRBO, so I cannot comment on cleanliness standards fully, but from what we could tell, the place was clean. We enjoyed the fire places, and the kids enjoyed playing 'sardines', another form of hide and seek. The road leading in gave a little anxiety for there were no guide rails and I feared driving off a……

“I wish breakfast had been available as there’s only a gas station in town or one other place that may or may not be open right across the street. In our case it wasn’t. It was either eat at the gas station or drive 40 mins one way and then 40 minutes back to avoid the toll road. Had I known before coming, I would have brought something with me. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was located close to everything we wanted to do. The people above us were really loud, thankfully……
