Stressful Vacation
Our family had 5 adults staying here at this rental. We arrived on Saturday. The driveway was quite a drop and was challenging to park and drive up. Architecturally the house was nice to look at inside, however cleanliness details was lacking. The tile floors were dirty, we saw stains spills when we arrived, the bottom of our feet were black after walking inside the house. The toilets can use cleaning, it was grimy and old. The toilet in the master bathroom flusher was broken, saw that after we used the toilet. We contacted Blue Water office 24 H through text msg. The response to my text was prompt, however no one came out until TUESDAY! I reached out to the office 3X daily. We also found dead cockroach in our kitchen and ants on the kitchen counter the next day. The water pressure for this home was a trickling from the shower, we were only able to shower one person at a time. The temperature of the water was warm for one person and then it became cool and the rest of the family had to shower with cool water temperature, it was challenging to rinse. There was no outdoor cooking supplies, grill or seating areas. The bedding, fitted sheets were not properly fitted, all the beds felt like we were sleeping on marshmallows, not supportive at all. The towels were thick and plush, one good 5 stars for that and the location was perfect as stated 700 feet from beach access. WE COULD NOT WAIT TO GO HOME after spending a few days here! Overall a 3 star rating.
